They want to see how it polls with their own base. If they get a surge of "YAS KWEEN SLAY ORANGE BAD MAN!" then they might move ahead with it. If they get back a "Meh" or "What the fuck are you doing", they'll back off and Pelosi will either brush it off with a "I was just considering the possibility" or even "I never said that".

I would guess she's trying to rush this while Trump is possibly still sick so they can talk about him being reckless due to corticosteroids and regeneron coursing through his veins. Also since Trump is going around talking about how fine he feels she may be angling to do hearings to talk about how ackshually he's dying and just hiding it really well.

Oh god it's like Green Day preforming for Hillary.

Nothing taught me more about fake revolutionaries than Obama becoming president and suddenly every "punk" or "rebellious" singer or celebrity I knew suddenly became a fan of drone strikes and more chaos in the Middle East. They sure hated goverment and war... when it was Bush/not their guy.
