Sometimes I see people in the Moviebob thread say that his opinions are fringe and I disagree. I always argue that the only thing separating Bob from your typical progressive is his lack of a filter. If Trump gets re-elected, I guarantee you could put his name and face on most of the resulting tweets and you'd have the hardest time picking his tweets from the others.

You know every time I try to brush something off as a "crazy conspiracy theory"... like the theory that the Dems deliberately gave Trump and various other people in his adminsitration covid, possibly through contaminated test swabs... they've got to go and pull something like this that makes me go "Well maybe it's not so crazy after all."

Besides, after last night's debate you'd think they'd know better than ever that the last thing they want is President Pence, but apparently not.

Honestly if they do legitimately try to remove Trump, I think what it means is that they've decided they really do want a civil war. Which I'm not sure if that means they're just that stupid, or they legitimately have some sort of plan for that.

Maybe if the Democrats didn't keep trying to tack on completely unrelated issues to a bill that says "give everyone $1200" then that would have been passed easily.

I had to take a double check on the article just to make sure what I was reading wasn't just my imagination. There is no way Pelosi is serious about invoking the 25th Amendment on Trump, not when he's far from incapacitated. This has to be a theatrical to keep the focus on Trump after the disaster that was The Wicked Witch of Commiefornia's performance last night. The timing is too coincidental.

If for some reason she is serious about this, then this might be one of the worst mistakes the Democrats could make this close to the election. It would shut the door on the speculation that Biden could possibly landslide Trump. More importantly, it means deep down, the DNC has to acknowledge they're in a competitive race that they might actually lose. September's voting registration data was a disaster for the Democrats, especially in states like Florida and Pennsylvania where they need to win. There is no way they can get Trump's cabinet to turn against him and remove him. To try this when it is so close to the election is a great way to get undecided voters to pull the trigger for a second Trump term simply because they hate the DNC that much.

This has to be nothingburger. Clearly Pelosi isn't serious because if she is, I'm going to start questioning the competence of postmodern DNC.
