He's the leader of the united states who leads one of the most powerful nations on the planet.
Calm your tits. The United States of America is unequivocally the most powerful nation on Earth now and in the entirety of human history. There is no nation that even comes close the the United States' overwhelming advantages. And to overtake the United States of America would take a collective effort of all the world's nations and even then you're looking at a loaded coin toss in favor of the USA.

Jeez. Makes me wonder if he left against medical advice
Had a coworker who had COVID. He described standard respiratory disease stuff, but in addition, described being more fatigued than usual when doing physical activity. Even walking his dog took a lot out of him.

Whether he's on the up-and-up, this looks par for the course. As far as I know, the WH hospital would be able to monitor his vitals (especially blood oxygen saturation, but also organ health) just fine. That said, I would have wished that he be monitored some more. Then again, as expressed before, I find it difficult to believe that his doctors (who certainly know much about this disease's progression) would allow him to be discharged if it wasn't sufficiently safe for him to be.

Even if they want to keep him there, if he demands to be discharged, then they have to discharge him (the disposition for it is called "against medical advice"). It's possible that was the case here, but obviously I have no idea. If he's struggling to breathe that much, though, you'd think they'd want him on oxygen

To be fair, he could have also been excited and walked up a bunch of stairs with COVID. No really.

I know that's standard procedure for a normie, but we're talking about the single most important government official in the federal government. I can't help but think that they'd be firm in not allowing him to leave if they couldn't ensure he could receive necessary healthcare outside Walter Reed.
