👓 TGWTG "Nostalgia Critic" / Doug Walker, Rob Walker, Mike Michaud, Mike Ellis, Holly Christine Brown, et al - The Incompetent Predator-Protecting Upper Management of Channel Awesome, Doug Still Not That Funny

And oddly, you could say Jew Wario is to thank for that. The fallout from his revelations basically killed all the momentum #ChangeTheChaanel had along with Doug's downward spiral.
There are still a couple holdouts that are still clinging to the idea that Doug is Satan and until he dies unloved and alone in a ditch somewhere the world will not be right.

know, but until JW and what transpired, it seemed things were heading that way.
It turns out that Doug is the least autistic member of the Channel Awesome crew, so he knew better than to sperg out. Because of this, he's actually doing fine and funny enough, Allison Pregler (she has her own thread) and friends who started the whole ChangeTheChannel (CTC) movement are doing much worse than before. It doesn't help that it's been years and Allison and friends are still droning on about CTC, and they don't even mention jewwario that much, but they love complaining about being on set of the To Boldly Flee movies and not getting snacks, which is their version of the holocaust by the way they talk about it.

Worst review is The Wall, no question. There's a reason it's infamous.
Hands down. It's not just bad, it's offensively bad. I'm convinced he didn't even watch the movie. He just looked at the animation parts, some screenshots, maybe read a synopsis. There's no way you could watch the movie and not understand the animated creatures in The Trial represent characters we've already seen (the school master, the mother, the wife etc.) But he just assumed it was all weird for the sake of being weird.

So with that done he then did his stupid ass takes on the songs without understanding what they were about or the context, likely doing zero research given he was continually confounded as to why there were references to WW2 in the songs. And then just to rub salt in the wounds he couldn't even keep a comprehensive narrative going within his own stupid fucking parody.

Okay, I stopped watching the Critic before it came out, so what exactly was so bad about the review? I never saw the movie, and I'm not really a Pink Floyd fan. Could someone explain why the review is so hated?
Long story short, the Critic did a clipless review- no scratch that- a clipless musical "review" of Pink Floyd's The Wall. However it's not an actual review so much as it of him crapping all over Pink Floyd for being pretentious, whiny and full of itself. As usual he completely misses the context of what the songs were actually about.

Oh did I mention Doug Walker sings all of the songs?

The salt produced by Doug not being reduced to destitution is more entertaining than anything he has ever directly created.
Eh I dont want Doug homeless at all. The guy hasnt done shit to me. I just assumed that him losing every single content creator in his business and being left with just himself and the reputation of a horrible company to work with would literally sink the ship. I guess I should’ve lurked moar overall 🤷🏻‍♂️

Doug is still stuck in 2008. Mindlessly shitting on old things isn't as trendy as it used to be. Now a days it's more about figuring out why things turned out badly.
