For a hospital, any vented death is about a million. No matter the cause. Administration/hospital gets that money- doctors don't get paid extra for specific diagnosis. I know it's useless to explain this to you.

Covid-19 is merely a blip on the radar as far as viruses go.

I know (as i have read the studies and books based on them) about some real nasty viruses out there - mostly man made and horrible they are to say the least.

Given the defunding happening globally; and given mans continued push into territories, the odds of a much more serious virus hitting us within the next 25 years is very real indeed.

I'd be worried about the next big one far more than what unfolds with Sar cov 2. If Covid-19 can cripple economies, the next major virus will likely kill economies.

Most definitely, this is only the first chapter in the book of Plagues of the 21st Century.

It's climate change, human expansion, bad farming, handling and medical practices by big ag, bushmeat, and dark research, all coming our way. Even if we did everything right, as a global community, climate change is coming and that'll bring the bugs out.

This virus is pretty damn bad. There will be worse. We've gotten lucky with the hemorrhagic fevers so far, for example. That luck can't hold forever.
