A rushed virus is concerning but i feel it will happen since governments all over the world say they wont fully reopen everything, end the lockdown and social distancing measures until one is out. And who the fuck knows when thats gonna be. People are already losing hope in things going back to normal, suicides have gone up and i fear the mental cost of such a decision i dread to even think about

I also remember seeing and hearing a lot more stories on liberal/leftist websites and radio starting about this time last year about an "upcoming recession," as if they were preparing the bed for whoever the Dem candidate was supposed to be who was going to run on that. An opinion piece from The Hill, as well as one from NY Mag and The Atlantic back up my sentiments on the stories that were being run at that time
