Lingerie is something used in the modern world as a representation of female sexuality, yes, as are a lot of other things involved in modern female sexuality. Women wear makeup to feel sexy; women do a lot of things to feel sexy. Those who says that they wear lingerie as their primary turn on means that it is a fetish for them.
