Jenna Marbles Quits Youtube - Gives up income for the dumbest reason ever

I assume in part due to her junk food vegan diet.
Google tells me she went vegan in 2015. 5 years seems to be the average amount of time it takes for vegans to get hit with the negative effects of that diet. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Julian and her are not really good for one another
She seems much happier with Julien than she was with Max, when all of these things didn't apply. She should definitely maintain a healthy diet and exercise, but in terms of looking "unkempt," to me, she just doesn't wear make-up that much anymore, which is absolutely fine. Her hair is in a lot better of a condition than it used to be, as well.
Someone fill me in on all this relationship shit? I haven't been following.

A few weeks ago she made these tweets:
Ver archivo adjunto 1413317
And now the SJWs are canceling her. Her content was always so apolitical that this whole thing just seems weird.

Every single influencer with an interest in self-preservation was forced to take part in BLM servitude the first week of June. That's when the Instagram "Blackout Tuesday" happened, and white people had to post a black square or else.

Jenna probably legitimately believes that shit since she's incredibly naive and soft-hearted with a brain that is mush from disuse and lack of vital nutrients, but those posts were basically required of everyone as a purity test. They don't offer any protection from canceling or going through people's old social media content with a fine-tooth comb.

Jenna used to be partial vegan for dietary reasons: she'd eat plant based foods 6 days a week, and then eat whatever stuff she wanted once a week. Then, at around 2012-2013, she no longer followed that diet, and just ate whatever she wanted. Vegans (like that batshit crazy woman "Freelee," who is obviously vegan due to an eating disorder that never left) grilled Jenna for this, and publically kept tabs on how much weight she gained (spoiler alert: It wasn't a substantial amount of weight-- Jenna still looked amazing and not overweight AT ALL). This kind of online scrutiny clearly messed with Jenna's head, and she went full vegan shortly after.

Jenna's boyfriend, Julien Solomita, has Celiac disease, and therefore also eats a special diet. As a result, they both eat gluten-free and vegan. To my knowledge Julien only became vegan to support Jenna.

When it comes to Julien, I don't hate the guy. In fact, I think he's an okay dude. I know that there are some people who hate him, but whatever; I think the only valid reason to hate him is because his sense of humor doesn't appeal to everybody. I don't think they hate him because he's a terrible person or anything.

As for Jenna's relationship with him, it's really a nothingburger compared to other e-celeb relationships if you ask me. It's nowhere near abusive or anything terrible like that. There's an age difference (Jenna is approaching her mid-30s, and Julien is in his late 20's), and sometimes that age difference shows. A part of me believes that Jenna has been "over" YouTube for a very long time, and has only stayed on the platform in these recent years because Julien is into it.

They also suffered a significant car crash back in 2016 that left them injured for months (to my knowledge, it fucked up Jenna's knee). In my opinion, this is when the trajectory of Jenna's content started. I think that crash really messed with Jenna's mental health, and it doesn't appear that she's doing anything about it, sadly. Who knows; she might be getting help and she would just rather not disclose that (which is understandable). I'm just saying that I started to see a drastic change in her behavior and videos after that accident happened, and haven't seen any improvement since.

Do I think that they are the worst match of all time? Not even close. However, I don't think that either party really does anything to "lift up" or help "better" the other person, if that makes sense. That might have something to do with the age difference? Who knows ... But honestly, I don't think they're the worst match of all time, nor do I think that they are "couples goals." I see two people who are kind of stuck and complacent in their ways, and neither gets encouragement from the other to get un-stuck if that makes sense.

All in all, I don't think that their relationship sparks any "hot gossip," personally.

Última edición:
I never watched much of her content but I think her decision is based.
"Fuck this, I don't wanna be involved anymore, I'm done."
Of course that's not what she literally said but at this point, is there really anything you can do besides throw your hands up in and air and give up? Maybe if you have something you're trying to stand for or a goal you haven't yet achieved but she's been an extremely successful youtuber since as long as I can remember, she's already won and now the political climate is so shit that she'll just get "cancelled" again in like 3 months by a new group of people, her best move is probably to just leave or take a vacation for a couple of years.

Rate me late, I'm just now seeing this since YT is a gigantic dumpster fire right now.

The reason why she has posted so many dumbass "watch my dogs do the most boring, mundane things" videos over the past couple of years is because she comes across as too terrified to make any other type of content.

Completely agree with this. I feel like her decision to leave was building, and building, and she was being crushed under the weight of it and said, "No, I'll keep going!" and then the cancellation train got fueled by coals from the bowels of hell because younger generations get their feelings hurt so easily (or want to virtue signal non-issues for validation, whatever the terrible reason is). That was the straw that broke Jenna's back. She was right, though; no one is having a good time right now. The George Floyd/BLM stuff has eaten up every corner of the internet. Even some pirating sites have been encouraging users to make donations. If you ignore the mob, you catch hell. If you try to appease the mob, you still catch hell because you said a bad word 10 years ago/didn't donate enough/need to apologize for your whiteness/and the list goes on, and on, and it's all so tiresome and stupid.

IMO Jenna should have left sooner. I used to check out her comment section regularly because I was so impressed by how dumb and weak her younger fans are. For about a year prior to all of this I kept seeing comments saying, "I literally can't watch Jenna's old videos!" Well, then get off of the internet. If you can't handle that kind of humor then you probably won't be able to handle getting rejected on Tinder, or reading a different opinion about a TV show on Facebook. If Jenna's old videos are causing someone that much anxiety then Jenna isn't the problem. But there were still so many circlejerks about Jenna's old content being "harmful and toxic" bUt ShE GrEw! ShE cHanGeD yOu GuYs! And it's like, no, her content changed. She didn't. She was never an actual racist, sexist, or hateful person at all. The type of content that was desired and acceptable changed.

You can't tell me that Jenna didn't see those comments. If you read them without context you'd think these circlejerking teens and young adults were talking about an actual racist and actual hateful videos, not a comedy bit that didn't age in a way that would appease the mobs. I think that would get to anyone, seeing thousands upon thousands of comments from fans speaking of you as if you really were once a truly terrible person. I hope Jenna takes her YT bux and spends a few days on an isolated beach or something nice.

I 100% agree with everything you said.

Aside from KiwiFarms and inviting friends to my Animal Crossing island, I have completely fucked off from the internet in the social sense. I deleted literally all of my social media on Memorial Day weekend because of how ridiculous things became (and from the looks of it, there is absolutely no slowing down of it after an entire month of this bullshit). I am not a bigot for refusing to donate to rioters' bail, and I am not a bigot for not supportng an organization that is rooted in Communism who funnels money to a single political party (conveniently during an election year, no less).

I feel shitty and isolated enough from people as it is these days; I can't imagine feeling that way as a public figure with 10 years worth of content for people to dissect and attack, millionaire or not. She may have a lot of money from those 10 years of videos, but with the current climate of the internet these days, I feel like she lost the drive to make the videos and now is probably trying to figure out what her other passions are. It's a shitty feeling to lose your passion for one thing and then be at a loss for what your other passions may be. Maybe she's finally ready to search for the next thing, and I hope she finds it.

Jenna did bend the knee ... But I understand why she did, and I still wish her all of the best. She's always come across as good people to me, and someone who I'd love to have as a friend (which is how millions of people felt). She went from being the cool girl who you'd love to party with, to the laid-back sweetheart who wants to make people smile. Never has she ever come across as bigoted, and the people who say differently are the real toxic assholes.

I know that Jenna does a podcast with her boyfriend Julien, and that they do a lot of Twitch streams. Julien released a statement that he's fully supporting Jenna and is also taking a break from the internet (for however long that may be). Personally, I hope that Jenna doesn't come back to do podcasts or Twitch streams; for her sake, I think she'd be much happier with completely bowing out. I'm happy to see that Julien appears to be supporting her with that possible decision. Awesome.

And lastly, I'm leaving this masterpiece here ... Because fuck the far left:

and that house seems so ... dead.
I always wondered if Jenna was happy living in a typical rich person LA home. I'm not saying she doesn't deserve whatever home she wants, it just doesn't seem like it's something she'd be happy with long-term. Also seems like a waste of money unless living in LA is beneficial to one's career. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure she once said that she wanted to have a farm with "all of the animals". How come she's never taken steps towards that? It could be good for her. It's hard work, but it isn't like having a desk job, or having millions of pairs of eyes judging your every move to the point that you still can't do a search for Jenna Marbles without retarded blackface articles coming up (the majority happily lie about why she had a spray tan and totally ignore context). She has the money, and I'd be willing to bet she'd save a pretty penny just by having a house that isn't in LA. Get a smaller and more easy to manage home with a farm, make new goals, start a new routine. Their current house just seems too big and overwhelming for 2 adults and 4 dogs.

At the end of the day Jenna is a dumb trendwhore who aged out of a platform for people under 30 to flaunt their material decadence. She bought the big west coast mansion because that's what all the popular youtubers were doing four years ago. And she's living that childfree, carefree lifestyle because she still wants to be perceived as one of the cool kids.

Jenna is a woman so shallow that she literally cancelled herself because some idiot on twitter was complaining about a 10 year old impression she did of obese mulatto Nicki Minaj. The idea of doing what makes her happy doesn't even occur to her because she hasn't stopped trendwhoring long enough to figure out what would actually make her happy*

*spoiler: its giving birth to and raising a human child
