Crime Fort Hood Military base killings 2020

The family of a missing Fort Hood, Texas, soldier named Vanessa Guillen is pleading for help after one month with no answers. The 20-year-old US Army soldier's mom, Gloria Guillen, is pleading for the public to help her find her missing daughter, who has not been seen since April, when she was working at the Fort Hood military base in Texas.

Vanessa's family is urging the public to sign petitions, speak out, and join their search parties, and they are concerned about the soldier's well-being after her mom says her daughter claimed she was being sexually harassed inside the military base by a sergeant. She also said someone from inside the base told her that her daughter had been "kidnapped." Tom Rheinlander, the spokesperson for Fort Hood, released a statement about Vanessa's disappearance and said the Army is doing its own investigation and search by sending 500 soldiers from the 3rd Cavalry Regiment to search for her on foot in and around the area.

Vanessa was last seen on April 22.
It's been more than a month since Vanessa was seen or heard from. The Stars and Stripes newspaper reported that an investigation done by Fort Hood officials and an Army Criminal Investigation Command, known as CID, revealed that the 20-year-old was last seen at 1 p.m. on April 22 in the parking lot of the Regimental Engineer Squadron Headquarters for the 3rd Cavalry Regiment at the base. Vanessa's car keys, the keys to her room, her identification card, and wallet were later found in the armory room where she was working earlier that day.

Her mom shared the details of the phone call she had with her daughter.
Her mom tearfully shared the story of a phone call she said she had with her daughter prior to her disappearance in which Vanessa claimed she was being harassed by one of the sergeants at the military base. Her mom told her to report him. "Mom, others have reported him but they don't believe them," the mom claims her daughter said, and then asked her not to get involved for fear that she would be retaliated against.

The mom shared a conversation she had with a sergeant about her daughter's disappearance. "A sergeant talked to me anonymously, and I can't say his name because he said 'If you say it, they'll kill me.' He said, 'They kidnapped your daughter inside. And the corruption is horrible and there's tunnels.'" She is asking for this situation to be investigated and is looking for a lawyer to help their case.

The family and members of the community have taken matters into their own hands and have launched their own search parties. More than 60 family members and friends came together at Miller Springs Park in Temple, Texas, to search for her on May 30. "I am hoping we can cross a big area off the map. It's a huge area we need to search," Vanessa's older sister, Mayra Guillen, told 6News at the gathering. "I feel that she is still with all of us, and that hopefully someone confesses," the sister said. "Or we can somehow find her ourselves before the authorities because its been over a month we need to keep pushing."
She added, "We aren't going to stay quiet. For as long as this goes on we are going to keep it going."

Attorney for Vanessa Guillen claims she was beaten to death with hammer by another Army soldier, before being cut up and mixed with cement

Based on what their attorney is saying, the man who killed himself sexually harrassed her, but the person who killed her was different entirely. What the fuck is going in at that place sure does seem like they ignored a murder until there was media attention. There definitely needs to be a congressional hearing like her family wants.

The thing about how they're describing the murder went down seems....questionable. First, I find it interesting that she was the only one at the armory at the time, aside from the killer. You'd think for obvious reasons that would be at least a two man post. That aside, what was he doing in the armory with a hammer, and more to the point how did he manage to bash her head in to the degree described without a) someone hearing the inevitable noise, struggling and yelling likely to have been a part of it and b) even if nobody heard it, bashing in someones head like that is extremely messy. There would have been blood and tissue in the room and on the walls that would have been noticed very quickly. Its not like it would be easy to clean up. and some of that had to have gotten all over the killer. So how exactly did nobody mention the mess in the armory and how did he manage to avoid getting noticed carrying a dead body covered in blood through an army base full of people without somebody noticing it. Its not exactly easy to hide carrying around a body.

That tells me that either somebody is lying about something and covering it up or they had help to get the killer and the body off base. and by that I mean help from somebody higher up, not just the idiots girlfriend

If anything this raises more questions than answers

Very strange news, another person from that unit has died, this time in a car "accident". This time the friend of Vanessa and the one who started the movement to find her. Apparently she also filed a sexual harassment claim.

Federal charges have been filed against a woman in connection the disappearance of 20-year-old U.S. Army Spc. Vanessa Guillen.

Cecily Aguilar, 22, is charged with one count of conspiracy to tamper with evidence. She is currently in custody at the Bell County Jail.

Guillen was last seen on April 22nd at Fort Hood. Human remains were found near the Leon Rive earlier this week in Bell County. Although they have not been positively identified, family members said that they believe it's Vanessa.

Fort Hood officials said that a suspect in her disappearance, shot and killed himself as local police and federal investigators closed in on him. He has been identified as 20-year-old Spc. Aaron David Robinson. Despite rumors to the contrary, Robinson was not Guillen's superior, Army officials said, and was not the subject of the alleged sexual harassment claims made by Guillen.

According to the federal authorities, Robinson told Aguilar that he killed a female soldier by striking her in the head with a hammer while on Fort Hood. Robinson further admitted to Aguilar that he transferred the woman's body off base to a remote site in Bell County. Subsequently, Robinson enlisted the help of Aguilar in disposing of the dead female’s body. The complaint further alleges that at a later time Aguilar recognized the deceased, whom she helped Robinson mutilate and dispose of, as Vanessa Guillen.

If convicted, Aguilar faces up to 20 years in federal prison and a $250,000 fine.

Is that mentioned in previous articles in this thread, or from somewhere else?
Yea it was mentioned before in a story but there hasn't been any links established so far between the two.
Family of fallen Fort Hood soldier Gregory Morales wants him buried with military honors

Each time the family of former Fort Hood soldier, Pvt. Gregory Morales, gets news about his status with the military, it brings them more pain.

Morales was reported missing from base on Aug. 20.

His mother, Kim Wedel, said he was set to start his discharge paperwork the following day.

"Greg had told me September 10 was his last day in the military, and he was going to come home and visit," Wedel said. "Then, he had plans to go enroll in a technical school in Galveston or Houston on how to work on big windmills. So, this was a guy who had plans, who wanted to use his GI bill to get this training. It made absolutely no sense for him to disappear."

Ten months later, law enforcement found remains about five miles from Fort Hood that they determined to be his.

Killeen police suspect foul play in his death. An autopsy is being performed.

Currently, his status is listed with the military as a deserter, which prevents him from a burial with military honors.

Wedel hoped to bury her son next to his uncle, and eventually, his grandfather at Fort Gibson in Oklahoma.

"My dad just keeps saying, 'If he's not alive, at least he can be buried with me and I can take care of him,'" Wedel said while crying.

She wants his status changed with the military so he can get the recognition she believes he deserves.
"He earned multiple awards," Wedel said. "He served in Kuwait, and he served in Korea all in four years. He did what he had to do and he doesn't deserve to be treated like this by the military."

Fort Hood issued the following statement Wednesday in regards to the incident:

"We are deeply saddened by the passing of PV2 Gregory Morales. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and fellow troopers as they grieve his passing. The unit is fully cooperating with the local authorities who are leading the investigation. We cannot take further action on his status until an autopsy is complete and the cause of death and the time of death are determined. Unit leadership is in contact with his Family and providing support, as permitted by Army policy, during this difficult time. We will remain in contact with the Family and investigators throughout this process."

The Bell County Justice of the Peace would not release any information about his autopsy results or the status of the criminal investigation.

U.S. Rep. John Collins has been working with the family to get Morales status changed.

Collins' office released the following statement regarding Morales' death:

"Pvt. Morales had a positive career in the Army and deserves to be laid to rest with the appropriate military honors. At this time, I've reached out to Ft. Hood to advocate on behalf of Gregory's mother and I look forward to getting an outcome that honors this soldier's service to our nation."

The fact they keep finding random bodies around Fort Hood while searching for her remains is absolutely bonkers
I figure that everywhere in rural America, you're probably within walking distance of a corpse murdered in the past 100 years. All those people who disappear forever have to end up somewhere. And most of those overgrown woods properties are owned by old people who can barely hike their front lawn.

The news about this keeps getting stranger and horrifying, and I hope mindlessobserver is right about exterminatus. :stress:

Maggots is probably right on the body front, but whew dog if any of those happen to be connected to this.

Yeah..... There is no way in hell thats some kind of coincidence. That is far too convenient given the current situation. To quote garak: I believe in coincidences, coincidences happen every day, but I don't trust coincidences

Something is clearly going on and i'd bet money on some higher ups being involved in it

Whose ex-wife is that white woman? What kind of relationship did Robinson have with her, the ex-wife of another soldier, that's she's his go-to for disposal of his murder victim? And what kind of mess would you have to be to willingly take part in dismembering and hiding the body of a young woman? How are people so fucking stupid?

Whole unit, if not the whole base sounds rotten to the core.
I've been seeing a lot more stuff posted about it on social media now that they actually have a body. People are indeed also bringing up deaths that have happened on base at Fort Hood, or in Killeen where it's located this year. Lots of deaths by gunshot or "unknown cause". People in the comments are mentioning how shady it was when they were there or from people they know. Gang activity, high crime rates in Killeen, sexual harassment. I have absolutely no idea how accurate any of it is but it's painting a picture of Fort Hood and Killeen being a shithole in general.

Yep, browsing the Fort Hood twitter threads there's a lot of talk in the comments of an unusual number of 'missing' solders, deaths on base, human trafficking. Sounds shady as fuck. Listening to the family's attorney it seems the chain of command impeded investigation or covered for the murderer(s) in some regard, lied through their teeth to the attorney on various matters,

I have an relative who was there in the 90s .... seeing him tomorrow in fact. Might introduce the topic if conversation slides that way.

Sounds like a straw that broke the camels back situation might be happening. Questionable deaths can only be ignored for so long before somebody starts noticing and makes an issue about it. This is the kind of thing that gets escalated federally once too many fingers start getting pointed. It could easily turn into a shitstorm for the base if the parents of these soldiers don't like what they hear from the investigation

I hate what happened to Vanessa and whomever was affected by this shit. I'm so glad that her family is fighting to get justice; there are many whose families have not for whatever reason. I hope that things can be cleared up and there's no interference from anyone higher up. Her friend died in a car accident, which is suspicious, so I hope her family also stays safe and all.

Cecily Aguilar has a guilty face to me.
Just something about her smirk just makes me think she could easily kill a romantic rival and have no problems with it.

I will take all the dumb ratings now.

Female Air Force Lt. Col. is slammed for suggesting murdered soldier Vanessa Guillen DESERVED to be sexually harassed because it's 'the price of admission for women into the good ole boy club'

A female Air Force Lt. Col. has been slammed for suggesting murdered soldier Vanessa Guillen deserved to be sexually harassed because it's 'the price of admission' for women in the army and 'if you're gonna cry like a snowflake about it, you're gonna pay the price'.

Air Force Lt. Col. Betsy Schoeller made the shocking comments on a Facebook thread where another person had shared an article about the missing soldier being bludgeoned to death shortly after telling family and friends she was being sexually harassed by a superior.

Schoeller, who is now a senior lecturer at University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, hit out at other social media users who expressed sympathy for Guillen.

'You guys are kidding, right? Sexual harassment is the price of admission for women into the good ole boy club,' the military veteran wrote.

'If you're gonna cry like a snowflake about it, you're gonna pay the price.'

Schoeller's comments came just hours after the attorney for Guillen's devastated family released information that the 20-year-old Fort Hood soldier had been bludgeoned to death with a hammer in the armory room where she worked.

Her post, which has since been deleted, sparked outrage from other social media users and a Change.org petition is demanding she be fired from her position at the University of Wisconsin.

'Incredible - I can't believe what I'm reading. Where does she get off saying something like that?! This woman was bludgeoned, hacked up and buried in a shallow grave!' wrote one outraged social media user.

Others blasted her for being part of the problem with entrenched sexual harassment of women in the armed forces.

'This is like the whole “girls can’t wear revealing clothing because men can’t control their urges” on a whole other level,' another person wrote on Facebook.

A fellow veteran agreed that Schoeller's response encourages harassment taking place.

'I spent literally half my career handling sexual assault/harassment charges for sailors,' they said.

'Leaders like her not only encourage harassment, they protect predators. This is not a mentality she left with her uniform. She brought it with her.'

Several people pointed out her high rank, saying she had a responsibility to tackle issues of harassment within the Air Force.

In one image from 2012, the lieutenant colonel is pictured meeting Michelle Obama during a visit from the then-First Lady to meet with family members of the victims of a Sikh temple shooting.

Her partial remains were finally found Tuesday near the Leon River in Bell County - more than two months after her disappearance.

An FBI criminal complaint released Thursday identified 20-year-old US Army Specialist Aaron Robinson murdered her by striking her in the head with a hammer on Fort Hood on April 22.

Robinson committed suicide Wednesday, just hours after Guillen's body was discovered.

He fled Fort Hood Tuesday night before he could be arrested by Army criminal investigators and shot himself when officials caught up with him a few miles from the base early Wednesday morning.

As authorities tried to confront him, he killed himself.

'As officers attempted to make contact with the suspect, the suspect displayed a weapon and discharged it toward himself. The suspect succumbed from a self-inflicted gunshot wound,' the Killeen Police Department said.
If you report rape in the military you deserve to be murdered? What the fuck lol
