I vaguely remember reading an interview with Jenna a couple of years ago and she said she'd earned enough money at that point that if she wanted to, she could retire and live comfortably for the rest of her life. It stuck in my mind because I'd known Youtubers made a lot of money, but I hadn't realised it was that much money. If I'm remembering right, then she's more than able to retire now, given she must have earned a lot more money since.

She seems much happier with Julien than she was with Max, when all of these things didn't apply. She should definitely maintain a healthy diet and exercise, but in terms of looking "unkempt," to me, she just doesn't wear make-up that much anymore, which is absolutely fine. Her hair is in a lot better of a condition than it used to be, as well.

Ehhh, Jenna's only 33. None of my friends or acquaintances looked so haggard at that age, and most "celebrities" without drug or alcohol problems certainly look fresher and younger than Jenna until they're in their forties. Jenna also lives a life of relative ease and luxury and has access to all sorts of stuff normal people don't like top aestheticians and hairstylists; I guess that's why I find her slovenly appearance to be aggressively irritating, lol.

Jenna and Julien's relationship is weird. They act like siblings or best platonic friends most of the time. They're both wildly immature and annoying. I don't like Julien much at all but actually think he's wasting time with Jenna if he's seeking a normal romantic situation with potential for kids and personal growth. They could break up and still hang out.

OG-type of youtuber who's been around for years, it's normal not to know who she is nowadays. Her content is mostly her dogs + her uninteresting boyfriend. Really innocent stuff, but I guess white guilt got the best of her. She literally has done nothing wrong so really, she's just using this opportunity to get the fuck away from youtube and its weird culty PC shit.

Been a fan of Jenna Marbles since day one. Saw the "How to Trick People into Thinking You're Really Good Looking" video, and was immediately a fan. That video is still fucking hilarious, especially compared to modern-day YouTube (which is stupid and awful, as everything else is these days).

Over the past two years or so, I have seen a trajectory with Jenna's content. She is no longer the same, confident, hilarious woman I became a fan of back in 2010. That's not to say I'm closed-minded about someone evolving or changing their content up to make things fresh. Nope. That's not the case at all. Over the past couple of years or so, though, I have noticed a drastic change in her demeanor ... And not at all for the better. Her content has become half-assed (not even that, if we're going to be honest; let's just say quarter or even eighth-assed).

What was once a confident, quick-witted lady has become a drained middle-aged person with no drive or self-esteem at all. And I truly think that's because she has become terrified of being a public figure because of stupid things like cancel culture. The reason why she has posted so many dumbass "watch my dogs do the most boring, mundane things" videos over the past couple of years is because she comes across as too terrified to make any other type of content. And I think she's been "over it" for years now partly because of it. Not to mention she even dresses like a homeless person these days; it's basically as if she feels guilty about being a conventionally attractive woman now, which is horrible.

It's a shame, really. I'm pissed that she has deleted and privated a lot of her older videos. Fuck that!

That said, though ... She bent the knee. Hard. If she thinks that she can escape from the outrage mob, then she's got another things coming. Apologizing and canceling your own channel will never be enough for these new wave authoritarians. They now smell blood in the water, and they are going to demand more from her. I'm already seeing shit on twitter: "So she's apologized for the Nicki Minaj video ... But just remember that NOBODY has to accept that apology!" She has already made her fortune from these "past videos"; people are going to demand that she give up all of her money sooner or later. She is currently living the benefits of making that "problematic content" by living in her McMansion ... And these NPC/SJWs/Cultural Marxists know it, too.

This was a bad move from Jenna. And it's sad. That said, though, if I were in her shoes, I might have come to the same brash "fuck it all" conclusion, too. 2020 is horrible, culture war is horrible, and people are horrible ... Which is why I actually miss people a LOT less than I expected with this quarantine shit, honestly. Without even being a public figure, I want to just be left alone these days, too.

I wish her well, even if I don't think she made the right choice here. If anything, I am sorely bummed that she deleted and privated a lot of her old videos. Some of her earliest content got me through some horrible, shitty times in my life where all I needed was a simple, stupid laugh during those dark days. Can't even go down memory lane anymore (unless some angels have archived everything). Fucking sucks, man.

That being said, what a shame that no one “comes after her” for that, but instead for laughing at her own self for being slutty and doing impressions of non-white celebrities. Aka slut-shaming and blackface apparently. I don't think she's really scared. I think she's just done and out of ideas. She is rich from YT and all affiliated content, truly set for life. If Julien still has his channels going, they can probably even live off of that without touching her earnings.
