It kind of weirds me out that the face of Dobbo Wobbo's generic female Skyrim character is pretty much identical that of his Brentalfloss drawing. There's having a distinct, unifying art style and then there's laziness.

Somewhere down the line it is going to be revealed that it is all a big act and that he is just a character like Jace. Fuck it, I recall being lectured about how Jace was definitely a real person. Shit, his shit went way back... Th-thats it. Dobson doesn't real. Nobody can be that deliberately obtuse.

It is blatantly obvious he cares way more about things like this than about his "original" concepts..

I'm sure the more artistically inclined posters could say a thing or two about that one, but I for one like it. As always, I'd prefer it to be less cartoony and more realistic. The fan of Norse shit in me questions the legitimacy of Medieval Nordic types drinking tea, but that's a silly gripe. The picture itself is sort of cute. I like the idea of Paarthurnax holding the cup with the little wing-talons. It's a nice picture.

Yeah, there's things I could criticize about it, but overall I like it too. The light source is more consistent than anything else I've seen from him so far, you can actually tell the light is coming from the fire, without too many other spots where lighting is incorrect or inconsistent. The shading on the snow isn't bad either, it actually looks like snow.

It's like how he went from drawing shit like this - where, sure, it has some problems or mistakes, slightly weird anatomy, that sort of thing... but it is still actually genuinely good, has effort and for lack of a better word, heart put into it. For whatever reason he gave enough of a fuck to try, and you can tell, I'd hang something like that on a wall. Fast forward seven years, though, and when commissioned to draw Samus fighting Ridley - same subject matter - all he could be bothered to shit out was this derpy monstrosity. It makes it hard to tell where the incompetence ends and the laziness begins.

So, I get the feeling that, in some of the rare instances Dobby makes artwork, he seems vaguely self-aware of his own odd little existence.

It's bizarre that he slightly understands how absolutely pointless all of the shit he does is, from making bad webseries to shitting his time away on Twitter, yet at the same time he makes no attempt to improve himself.

... But then again, we have about 208 other pages hammering this point in, so...
