My apologies. I got confused by all the conflicting reports she's given about, well, everything.

And that just makes it all worse. She was not broadening the term "child" to include all of her adolescent years; she was intentionally misleading people. My guess is that she wanted to seem younger to the people on Susans in order to fit in with the younger userbase on the site. You know, the ones who are the most confused about their transgendered status and the ones who need the most support. She was looking for the easiest group to manipulate.

I'm now really concerned about what sort of behaviour she was engaged in when she got booted from the site. (:_(
That sounds like the sort of thing she'd do, but I just assumed she was saying it to get more credibility.
If you say "This was my favourite childhood thing" people tend to understand what that means. You've got a nostalgia about it and it might have influenced your tastes and attitudes as an adult. If you're 21 years old, however, it just kind of says "I really liked this thing so I ripped off a lot of it for own thing."

No need to apologize, your estimation of Brianna's age was totally in accord with her past statements. From Only Fools Mess with Brianna, the best story ever uploaded to Fictionmania:

On July 6 of last year I broke up with Heather, ending the worst relationship of my life. I was 25 at the time. [...]
With great pride,
Bree
July 14, 2006

The story was written in 2006, Brianna claimed she was 25 during the previous year, meaning she would have been 18 on 1998 had her stated age was her actual age. It's just that it isn't.

Brianna's complete disconnection from the real world still fascinates me. He really thinks that everyone knows him just because he says some controversial things on Twitter?

It's probably due to her self-made bubble that she thinks she's actually relevant in the mainstream media... All she does is circlejerk with the SJW's that still fund her, bait GGers, false flag herself, and is unable to properly interact with every day people in the flesh. I can see her being one of those customers that would argue it is their right to try on underwear in the fitting rooms, and then complain that they've got crabs.

I had never even heard the name Brianna Wu until the Commander started calling her out as the "tranny bitch who hates gaming". Then I put 1+1 together, realized she had a lolcow thread, and started eagerly following this thread. And to be honest, it keeps getting better and better as time goes on.

I can only imagine how much of a headache she creates for the actual game and tech developers who she tries to associate with, who take their products seriously.

I hope it's like your scenario and not mine. I'm comfortable with the idea that Brianna is CWC with money. I don't think I'll be comfortable with her being proto-Vade.

The odd thing is there really aren't a lot of younger posters on Susan's. Most of the younger ones hang out in Reddits asktransgender or /lgbt/. Susan's is well known in the community as that place where older unpassing trans people congregate.

is very weird that she mention Parasite Eve when in the first game one of the final forms of the last boss looked like this

latest

and lets not forget when Aya Brea is sexualized in Parasite eve 2 and in The Third Birthday (the shower scene)

Less sexualized in the first two. The few times she's dressed lightly (the Opera House scene in PE1 and the Mojave in PE2), it's reasonable because she was at a show (for the former) and in a desert where the heat often goes above 120 degrees (in the latter). The shower scene of PE2 is essentially an establishing shot for the boss fight with Burner, where Aya notices something's wrong because of the ground shaking with every step the goddamned thing makes after having a bad dream. I think the only openly sexual thing involving Aya in PE2 was the promo poster that had her topless, and that was done after production.

In the Third Birthday though....

You actually have a credible argument for actual misogyny there. I've been over it a few dozen times, but the the Third Birthday's shower scene borders on softcore porn and has no purpose other than to throw a Shower scene into the game, whereas it was part of an establishing shot for something in PE2. It's not just that, either - she has almost no personality in the Third Birthday (why is because of a plot-point, but fucking no one in the Third Birthday acts anything near like they did in previous games). The entire plot is an incoherent mess, and we essentially learn at the end of the game that the Aya we control isn't Aya at all, but Eve from PE2, somehow having hijacked Aya's body by accident. The entire thing when I realized that you're watching what is obstenibly a minor get sexually exploited by the game made me feel extremely uncomfortable, and I'm not someone who gets that way around most things.

And I do mean sexually exploited. In PE2, Aya took a shower because she was in a desert, sort of sweaty from a day's work (and killing NMCs), and was trying to recover her senses after a nightmare since she had to talk to Douglass about getting the truck running in a little bit. In PE3, her clothes get shredded constantly, making her wear less, which, paired withthe other problems, drive home a character evisceration that's ridiculous in scope.

Aya's unlockable outfits in the Third Birthday include a maid outfit, skimpy swimear, a bunny suit, and probably the most offensive of them all, Lightning's outfit. All of which can be shredded to be even skimpier (seriously, the swimwear may as well be nipple tassels and panties after a given boss fight). It also has a special secret camera you can unlock that focuses on Aya's ass. All of which, mind you, with a character, lest I be neglecting to bring this up, that's a 16-year old in an adult's body.

I am convinced that Brianna never played The Third Birthday. I really want her to. She'd sperg harder than Chris over Blue Arms.

Well not sure I really count as okay since I'm obligated to think nothing but poorly about myself but...
A) They were just nuts anyway. Mainly in the case of the genuine ones (probably Wu's type of crazy)
B) They see it as some special badge or something. Like there's people having a condition or disability and still having pride as a human being or how they cope with it (like say, someone who can't walk still managing a completely normal and successful life) and then there's thinking it's a flag to wave about instead of something most people wouldn't want if given the choice.
C) They are from the tumblr mindset of "I WANNA BE OPPRESSED" and mindlessly tack on as many labels as it takes for their peers to forget they're wealthy and very well off in nearly every way.

Yeah most are, we seem to have pretty ok trannies here though.
If anyone would like to explain the crazy tranny phenomenon I'd like someone to transplain this to me.

Pretty simple. You're more likely to notice crazy people in general, and crazy people are more likely to do whatever it is they do in a garish, shocking manner. So you might not even have noticed a number of low-key TG people around, or barely noticed them. But if your main experience has been with an extremely unpleasant crazy person, or a few of the same, you're going to associate that trait with the group.

It's just confirmation bias.

Also, there's a thin line between being exuberant about something and being an annoying attention whore, and people disagree about where it is.

I think what could also be contributing is that they might not have seen anyone for treating their mental illness outside of the mandatory psychiatric evaluations for transitioning. And that's assuming they go through the proper procedures to begin with. In Wu's case, I believe she used her resources to "shop" for a professional who would sign off on the procedure. I just don't see how else she could have passed without her extreme misandry or potential sociopathy even being addressed.

Lol I forgot that part but the plot is not a mess per se the problem is that you have to check the time line and the databases after every mission to see what the hell happened after you time traveled, still I'm surprised that square has not milked more parasite eve or at least make a HD version of The third birthday, asking for remakes only made that those fucker make PE the mobile game only to annoy people

At least EIDOS is finally making more Deus ex and there is a teaser site about something that looks like Star Ocean

I'm sure that Brianna lied about playing parasite eve, that game require some level of gaming skills that she doesn't have

Gender dysphoria seems to be some kind of error in brain development, and having error-prone brain development is going to screw with more than just your body map on average. Somebody on the Kiwi Farms posted a link to a pair of studies showing a high rate of comorbidity of gender dysphoria and autism, and gender dysphoria and other mental disorders. But I can't find them now.

I imagine she googled 'females exterminating men' and that came right up, so she started obsessing about it despite never playing the games (or reading the books!) or else she'd know that in the end the male mitochondria kicks Eve's arse.

She actually did play it and loved it, saying that the game is excellent in one of her posts on the IGN forums. She was even planning on buying a PSP just for that game.

....There are no words. Holy shit.

Only Brianna Wu would call what the fanbase unimpeachably calls worse than Other M a great game. This does, however, explain why her game has such a shit narrative - she loved the Third Birthday's so much, she decided to emulate it. And then forget the logbook entries that contextualize anything that happens in the game.
