The more I read about Dobson, the less inclined I am to laugh at him and the more inclined I am to... like... genuinely ween him. He rubs me just in the wrong way. He's not like Chris-chan, where he's woefully ignorant of his own incompetence, nor is he like Peter Coffin, where his antics are more hilarious in his attempts to get attention. He doesn't even strike me like Wu, someone who publicly invites bullying and harassment in order to get a rise out of people and publicity, and having extremely confusing double standards. I mean, at least Wu does something. She made a game (a lazy and incompetent one, but a game nonetheless) and she goes out for public speaking and genuinely gets her presence out there (albeit her speeches are pretty bullshit). She's at least doing something.
Dobson just whines on Twitter, makes a picture every once in a blue moon, and continues to whine on again about how he's so oppressed and how he can't do the things he wants and how it's too hard to do what he wants. I'm not sure where his passion lies, but obviously he cares very little for his art and his transparency for other causes that he supposedly "supports" even moreso. Like, literally, the most the guy has ever done is done a couple poorly conceived OCs, some fan works, and gone to some conventions, and he calls that his art career. If we're going by such pathetic standards, then if we applied it to writing, I've done about as much work as Dobson. And I do this sort of thing as a one-off hobby that I can only really concentrate on if I'm extremely bored.
Hell, as much as we give shit to Chris for never really trying to succeed in improving his life, at least he attempted to do shit to further his false life. Literally, you could make an argument that Chris was more proactive than Dobson.
