Generally people with real trauma don't talk about it to all and sundry the way they talk about the weather, because that shit hurts. They keep it private, to be discussed in specific circumstances (and with specific people) they feel safe enough to do so in. Also, most people don't want to wade through their historical trauma on a daily basis as if it's a greatest hits album, because they want to move on and enjoy life as much as possible.

Go back in time before bastardized therapy culture made showering others with your alleged deepest traumas for entertainment and attention value normal and you'll find endless people who never spoke about the terrible things they endured. Plenty of people came back from POW and concentration camps and war and proceeded never to speak of those things again, because a)there was no cultural venue for it and b) they couldn't bear to do so. The whole concentration camp thing was actually rarely spoken about for decades after WW2 ... it took 30+ years for it to become something others were interested in and their experiences seen as of historical importance. Immediately after the war, nobody wanted to know.

The more I see someone basing their entire online persona on some alleged vague trauma, and never stopping blathering about it to all and sundry, they more I think they never had any in the first place.
