Guys, I need to crowdsource something so those of you that are following trans Reddit please help if you can: apparently there were a bunch of self-proclaimed doctors on one of the trans subreddits claiming that TIMs/M2F trannies were less likely to get Covid 19 because estrogen supposedly makes an man stronger(?). They also claimed that TIFs/F2Ms were more likely to get Covid 19 because t makes a TIF weaker. I find these claims rather astonishing and would like to see the original Reddit post, if anyone can find it (I couldn't).

This is wishful thinking bullshit, just like most of their claims about the "benefits" of estrogen. The sex disparity in cases could be down to varying rates of smoking (heavily sex-selected in China- many many more men smoke than women) or obesity (males and females with the same % body fat are different % obese and obesity is a significant complicator for COVID). Men have larger lung volumes than women, even at the same height and weight, which might mask symptoms of pneumonia until later than in women. So men may be more severely ill when they do show symptoms, but that's just conjecture. It's highly unlikely that estrogen has any fucking thing at all do to with COVID, since even receptors with strong theoretical effect on COVID like ACE don't make a huge difference in the clinical picture of severe cases.

A LOT of trannies smoke and are disgusting, so I would expect them to match male infection rates. The basement dwelling is a protective factor.

Gender dysphoria is a mental illness, yes, and therefore you should think about it the same way you'd think about people with bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, etc. They can be completely normal people outside of the mental illness they happen to have, or they can be complete lunatics due to their mental illness and possibly other mental problems outside of that as well.
