Mike was offered several times to be let back into he fold. A lot of CG people liked Mike and wanted him to back, but he reused everytime. So that’s on him.
How late was the Meg? Like a year and some change, of course people are gonna talk. But you‘re right, lateness is not exclusive to Mike.
These late books are the reason why people are afraid to back newer and lesser known creators and these creators are doing themselves and CG a huge disservice by not having a proper plan and talking to others who have gone this process on how to do it right.

Mike is terrible at making arguments or persuading people. But he had a point at asking what the point was in remaining if he was being attacked endlessly by factions within Comicsgate while being a part of Comicsgate.

Sort of like how Ethan van Sciver was fired from DC for "telling someone to kill themselves" while at the same time they were courting troons threatening violence on twitter, it was all about his political stances first and supplying a weak, hypocritical justification afterwards. Very similarly, Smiller was busy online arguing on Edwin/Indiecron's behalf in the face of calls for Indiecron projects to be vetted by an authority before being considered "officially CG". And then a couple of months later, wouldn'cha know, Ro "purge the degenerates" Kabir is spearheading an "investigation" of The Meg for embezzlement and clutching his pearls over Mike's homophobia.

I mean, nothing is stopping you from taking the reasons supplied for the schism at face value ("Doug and Mike wanted to turn CG into a hate movement"), but it was fundamentally an argument of gatekeeping vs. anti-gatekeeping, and the gatekeepers won. Mike isn't exactly without sin in this department, as he supported multiple similar actions until it finally crept up on Indiecron.

True, but that doesn't make what Ethan has done right either. The man needs to be charged with fraud and he needs to be made accountable for such things. He has this major "ego god complex" and it's beyond dangerous to himself and his own family, but as well as others. I mean look at how his goons in WC are becoming more and more into going beyond just cyber stalking and bullying to actually physically in person stalking people all for the "sake of their Caesar. " and he just encourages it because he is a coward and can't seem to fight his own battles without others behind him like a typical bully.

Yup. This is why I think they're so combative and fanatical. They have to win or else they're all pretty much done for. This is why

1) You're not going to see EVS or anybody else call out Ro never mind drop him because then he'll spill the beans on what he and his spergs have been been doing with Warcampaign;

2) You won't see YF go after CG both because he would probably lose part of his audience and get doxxed (assuming he bought CG books which I imagined he did, by a member of WC or some other CG sycophant/sperg);

3) You also won't see TUG go after CG either because doing so would likely hurt his audience, make him look like a chump for supporting CG, and likely bring out all the skeletons he and his wife have been stockpiling in their closets;

4) You're not going to see Micah dial down his special brand of autistic fanaticism or he won't be able to put out future comics (and yes...that guy has at least one other comic coming out) with the help of EVS;

5) You're not going to see Malin go his separate way or he'll be treated the same way Doug was;

6) You're not going to see Cecil go after CG because he personally has nothing else left; and the list goes on and on.

i’ve heard plenty of claims about Anti CG figures, but doxxing customers is one thing CG has repeatedly said they were against.

I know you're really into this war on comics that include women, blacks and homosexuals... but just take a step back, take a breath and look through your last 6 or 7 posts and compare them to how Scientology works. If you're able to forget about funnybooks for a few minutes, you'll see the similarities are striking

Yep. I think too many of them would still defend them even if he was setting them on fire at the very moment. Those defending him, people like "TUG" and all the others in EVS' "CG' / "WC"........... anyone who actually shows having brains as well as then decides to back away from that trash fire end up made into a target. Though I find it to be still better compared to staying involved in that group and allowing themselves to be abused or not knowing who is next on the list of those Ethan just throws to the wolves. These people have been being shown mounds of stuff and they all still act like they aren't being shown any evidence. I mean there is a lot on "TUG" and "Lola" showing how much they have lied and such and still there are idiots following them and acting like they are great people.
