Sonichu [Fan Comic] Rosechu's Story - A reimagining of the Sonichu story from Rosechu's perspective.

I really, really am enjoying your characters, especially Kel. You gave her the right amount of imperfection to make her truly human. You found our intrepid duo carelessly tossed into a rubbish heap. You took them home, cleaned them off, and turned them into art.

Okay, that's way too sappy.

I really hope it's a dream sequence for when the day comes that she, Allison Amber, and Dr. William Schwartz, PhD commit a heinous act of murder. Granted, being exposed to Chris would be grounds for an insanity plea, but still...

Technically (if we're going strictly by game logic here) she would have forgotten how to use Tackle long ago, as it would've been replaced by a stronger move. Technically, she still knows how to do her thunder-based moves, but nothing comes out when she does it because she's lost her batteries, so to speak.

So, what you're saying is that sonichu pokemon are some sort of glitch pokemon. That's why they are so powerful and why they can walk and talk like humans when it cost Meowth most of his Move Slots. However, Rosechu's values got scrambled especially badly, and now when she tries to use her thunder-based attacks, the selection screen screws up and won't let her select the move, and she can't even Struggle because her Electric Attacks are still at full.

Kel will probably have to switch out to David when she realizes this. Just hope this doesn't screw up her saved game...

Though given the comments made by Trickie, I fear it may be too late.

Welp, seems Kel is going to learn about Rosechu's inability to conduct electricity the hard way.

However, Rosechu's values got scrambled especially badly, and now when she tries to use her thunder-based attacks, the selection screen screws up and won't let her select the move, and she can't even Struggle because her Electric Attacks are still at full.

Actually, it was explained in one of the earlier pages that Rosechu's transformation caused her to lose her shockpads, which are vital for using electrically-based attacks.

And if the pokéball world is where all in-ball Pokemon are, Sonichu and Rosechu can finally get some damn alone time.

Actually, it'd probably be crowded with a lot of low level pokemon like Weedles and Zubats that new trainers have been catching but never really using.

Thank you! I like Kel a lot, too. She's pretty good at being a bit of a friendly foil for Rosechu to work off of. I just hope people still like her a few plotlines down the road.

Well, I'm not planning to go so meta with the game mechanics as to introduce game glitches. The story is going to go meta in a completely different way. Like @Ification said, it's only because she's lost the biological ability to store electricity. She knows the move, it's just that when she performs it, very little electricity comes out.

rosechu is dead and in a coma and dreaming all this thats my fan theory

Dead, in a coma, and dreaming? I approve.

I like how the old man is polishing that creepy as hell Sonic thing Chris made as a kid.

Yeah. I don't know why, but I have a strange fascination with that thing.

I can't read the text under the Son-chu ball. May you please transcribe it for us?

Oh, sure!

The text was too small to justify adding anything funny, so really it's just what you might expect.

For capturing Sonichus and Rosechus all copyright (c) Christian Weston Chandler DO NOT STEAL!!!

Oh wow, that's impressive. Well done!

I'm a very good squinter.

I thought for sure you had taken it into a file editor to zoom in on that specific part or something.

I really like this comic! I just wish it was updated more frequently, but I know that things related to Sonichu are dead-last on everyone's list, as they should be. Keep up the great work!

Thank you so much! And yes, the slow updates are a problem. After everything settles down with the move (and assuming the place I get isn't absolutely terrible, I'm going there half blind after all), I'm going to be experimenting with things, and seeing what I can do. I'd love to be able to consistently put out two pages a week, because I know the fact that the updates are slow means that the plot also moves slow, and that means people kind of get bored and lose interest and that's not what I want at all.

Do electric hedgehogs dream of Mareep?

I imagine they do, they probably count Mareeps to help them go to sleep.

Yaaaay new page. And the audience seems vaguely familiar... hmmm...

Awesome job with the mayor, btw. You accomplished a familiarity with the original that doesn't rely on making him too outrageous. Ya done good.

Also, for whatever reason, soon as I started reading this page, this song popped into the back of my head:
