Am I the only one who thinks reporting stealing solo to Harrison Ford and Disney is a dumb idea?

I don't like it, but it's not a "dumb" idea because it's rooted in fact and law.
Unlike the criticisms CG is used to dealing with and throwing out ("Hey Hasbro! One of your GI Joe comics writers was MEAN to me online! FIRE HIM!"), this criticism is actually based on facts and laws. That may be difficult for CG to understand, since they're used to dealing with amorphous feelings and imaginary internet fanclub rules.
Jeff obviously breached copyright and trademark law. Comicsgate doesn't understand what parody is and what it isn't--which makes sense for them, because they've become a self-parody of the movement they were a few years ago.

It's still a dick move to report it, imo.

It's important to realize that this is only happening due to the escalation that EVS has caused. There's no way in hell that Preston would have been moved to report Jeff if Preston hadn't been locked into this escalating online battle against EVS and his brainwashed troll army. Reporting Stealing Solo is a way for Preston to metaphorically assault Ethan's side. In my opinion, that's obviously WHY Preston and others are reporting it.

Well he almost certainly isn't innocent of copyright and trademark infringement. He's almost certainly guilty of those things, whether someone reports him or not. So he's not innocent in that regard. Sorry, but he's just not.
As to whether or not he's this nice sweet innocent puppy dog...
It depends whether or not you think taking $52k of people's money only to deliver a very substandard product nearly a year late is something that a good and innocent person does.
I still like Jeff, but I never gave him any money, and Jeff's friend isn't leading a troll army to destroy me.
That's the position Preston's in.
And it's easy for me (or any of you guys) to say "I still wouldn't tattle to Disney NO MATTER WHAT."
I could say that. I am saying that.
I'd like to believe it.
But I'm not in Preston's position.
As soon as Preston disagreed with Ethan on something, Ethan came at him with files about Preston's divorce and was like "Do you want me to make your personal life public, Preston?"
That was months ago and that's the kind of stuff that's been happening behind the scenes.

So, at the end of the day, I don't care.
It's internet drama for a half-hour of entertainment everyday (I don't watch the livestreams), but it isn't serious.
It definitely isn't about making good comics or improving anything, that's for sure.

Well it's he said he said bs tbh, i dont know preston's side of the story of his beef with evs but @FROG said that Preston (Pocketjacks) didn't put him on his lvie stream to promote his book which i take with a grain of salt until Preston gives his side.

It's pathetic that they are blaming outside forces for the waning interest in their campaigns when they can't get their shit together. Fulfillment 10 months late, cheap floppy format, misprints. They built up a business complaining about the poor quality of comics coming out of Marvel and DC, and the bad treatment of customers. No sense of irony.

These folk are charging $25 + shipping for 50 pages of bad story and dodgy art. Have they no shame?

The only people who would survive from this gay movement is probably Kyle and zack, although zack had some drama over his group on FB earlier im the year zack quit the Twitter drama and mellowed out, ethan will still have his fans until he lolcows.

did He even back Stealing Solo? I think He did tell Ethan to chill awhile ago, thats why he cut out most of his social media and he was trying to convince Ethan that it’d be better for him to do the same. Also, the artist who draws Mary is awesome. I wish I could draw like that.

welp, i remember having classmates in highschool when i was 13-14 that draws leagues better than this. so, all i can say to the artist is.... yep, you're not gonna make it.

It was more akin of a half-gay weak threat attempt, typical of the cowardice of Zach, he even deleted that exerpt / edited out that part of that specific video, he was heavily implying that if you criticize the overall quality of Cuberfrog's book you better have 200K $ for a "hypothetic" lawsuit because you are lying (if you criticize it).

Since i own the comic book i can tell you Zach lies about the quality of the paper, it's nothing close to even the thinnest cardboard, the paper is so thin it's all wobbly and ondulated from having a hard time retaining the ink, i opened the book only 2 times to look into it and i start to get strange whitening areas on the chapter pages proving it's not able to sustain it's own material / paper without degrading on place itself. I previously posted scans of the ink damage on these boards a while ago. But my criticism wasn't deemed "valid" by Frog of course.

What i despise the most about Zach is that he perfectly knows about the shenanigans going on and is perfectly comfortable going on Ethan's Streams when the time has come to promote his book, so when it happens, he will be perfectly at ease shit talking on everyone and following Ethan's drama on any topic or subject like a perfect little pawn, then the rest of the year he will play it very very safe on his channel. He's just as hypocrite as the rest, even more, because he deals in higher levels of cowardice and boot licking whenever it fits him financially or wherever the wind blows.

touché... can’t argue with hard proof like that. By the way, I am feel for you on the condition of your book. I would be pissed as fuck if my copy of Cyberfrog started getting those spots. But I only read through the book once.
