But is it better than Alex's attempt at a fighting game?
HAHAHAHAHA OH THAT’S ADORABLE!But is it better than Alex's attempt at a fighting game?
Come to think of it that might be why he agreed to putting his character in. Wasn't the fighting game the one that Mike Z told him sucked? Maybe this is his way of showing he supports rookie indie developers who look up to others, and to say he's better than Mike Z.
Jesus fuck this looks like a Shrek Superslam clone than a Playstation allstars clone. A full on human centipede of knock-off shovelwares.

Lunar Scythe had better graphic design at least. But is it better than Alex's attempt at a fighting game?
That’s just pathetic. Also I found this funny comment on a let’s play of the game.Lunar Scythe had better graphic design at least.
It's literally out of autistic pride; he still thinks everything he touches is genius and perfect right off the bat, and screeches at the idea of ever having to do things like... EDIT anything he touches. You would think this guy would delete his well-known rape fan fictions but instead he writes a statement explaining how he writes “dark” stories.
But he can't make a 2d animated game out of Unity store assets, that would require -*gasp*- original content!Honestly, Alex's First big mistake was making the game 3d at all, there is a very good reason why almost all successful 1-person games are all 2d or retro looking.
I think 3d done by 1 dev can be feasible if its short and simple enough. The most usual mistake in gamedev forums is that 3d indie beginners all want to make action games like Devil May Cry but with their own OC do not steel, and their scope/expectations get way too big. The majority of 3d games made by a small group of <5 people are walking simulators that want to ride the coat tails of 'Journey'. I've seen some games recently like 'Praey for the Gods', but it feels too much "inspired" by that one ps double game about shadow giants (imo at least) rather than its own game.Honestly, Alex's First big mistake was making the game 3d at all, there is a very good reason why almost all successful 1-person games are all 2d or retro looking.

First time indie devs always make this mistake, they get a little too confident in their abilities and don’t realize how much work goes into finishing one game. For someone that can’t make models and can barely code this project was wayyyy out of his scope. This is why most people will tell you to finish a game before you even plan on working something you plan to sell. Even if it’s shit you can say you’ve finished a project start to finish. It’s why you see so many cool projects on twitter and youtube and never hear anything about it again. Making games is hard, finishing games is very hard.I think 3d done by 1 dev can be feasible if its short and simple enough. On a small tangent, the dev who made RWBY Grimm Eclipse is making his own game. It has the thing I've mentioned before, but I'm looking at his twitter and he's made good improvements. Not a fan of that anime cliche of muh dark and light powers, but I might let it slide if his game is good. Even if devs like Jordan has prior experience, its still takes years to keep track of all of the in-real time shenanigans; after all you have to finish your game.

I remember a great quote from the chat log that was like “If you’re only doing this for someone else’s gratification you’re doing it for the wrong reasons”It did and its why to this day he made yandere sim:to prove Mike Z that he is good at coding and programming. To this day he sees Mike's criticism as bullying. Although to be fair, he was pretty harsh with it, but he did give him extremely good advice.
He gets all the gratification he needs from his youtube videos. After people ass pat him for his ideas he hasn’t implemented yet he has no motivation to work on the gameI remember a great quote from the chat log that was like “If you’re only doing this for someone else’s gratification you’re doing it for the wrong reasons”
Then Eva was like “ISN’T THAT THE POINT????”
Then everyone was like “Fuck no, make a game you would want to play first.”
You mean "hit on," right? I doubt he physically struck someone over Discord.Hey so I have been reading this thread over the past month and have wondered if the guy had auctally hit girls on his “”amazing”” discord server. Specifically of the underage kind. I’ve heard rumors but I want to see screenshots of the man auctally doing it.
All of these things happened before BASIC GAMEPLAY MECHANICS were implemented in Yandere Simulator. Alex is literally still adding new bloat to his game to this very day.Someone made a twitter account recently to compile lists of things that have happened while YanSim is still in development.
Based off of this thread.
