As fucked up as it sounds, I kinda hope this becomes the norm. Most of the intercity stores are likely owned by rich white liberals. Maybe this will finally be the thing which redpills them.

This was at a shopping center, not a downtown store in South Chicago where stores like that won't thrive. However, if intercity hoods can just drive half an hour to a suburban shopping center and bum rush it, expect shop and building owner to militarize and lockdown the area to prevent this from happening.

As they should. Warm when wet, easy to seal when a section is torn, durable, and usable in a pretty wide range of temperatures depending on the undergarments. A nice one also costs roughly $300 if not on sale, so I guess they stole about 100 of them. Puffers are amazing. Don't know why you would go with North Face instead of Patagonia though.

No, they didn't, because the Irish way of doing things is to blame yourself for not being strong enough, pull up your pants, take a shot of whiskey, and get on with your day because no one else is going to do it for you and everyone's going to say it's your fault anyway, so succeeding is your way of giving the entire planet a middle finger.
You'd never know it because the media won't cover it, but there's a big push by the black community to force this issue. I know this because I've met some of the guys trying to do it on the local level. They really want to address the actual problems in the community and more importantly, get them to stop blaming everyone else for their fucking problems. The issue is that a lot of the current generation come from broken homes and there's ten fucktons of people within the black community actively trying to keep that community down.

Possibly, but OTOH it's selling food, the textbook example of inelastic demand. People aren't going to not buy food just because it costs more, and if they were going to steal it they'd steal it if it was cheaper anyway.
You also wouldn't raise the price of staple goods (because "evil store charges poor people through the noise for basic goods" is bad PR no matter how bad the shrinkage is), you'd make up the differance by jacking up the price on other stuff that people can go without but will still buy. If you're losing 10% of your profits because people are constantly stealing ceral and milk, you raise that price a bit, but you double the cost of stuff like beer. People will still by beer, perhaps less of it but as long as you make up the differance in volume via higher sales revenue, that doesn't matter.

The large city north of that outlet mall had a beautiful mall (Mall #1) on the Northwest side at one time. Now it's derelict and scheduled to be torn down (but the owners are trying to stop that). Another mall (Mall #2) on the Northeast side near a more wealthy suburb is also going through yet another renaissance (supposedly). and the reasoning is that there are not enough shoppers.
No one ever goes into WHY there are fewer shoppers but Amazon and the Internet sure didn't cause the decline of Mall #1 - that was the projects close by whose residents were causing issues and slowly encroaching on (and eventually taking over, and decimating) the entire area.
Now Mall #2, hot off the heels of having to impose curfews for teens and after going from a classic indoor mall style to a lovely outdoor shopping enclave with restaurants and courtyards, is experiencing a decline as well. But no one will address the elephant in the room - it's the black teens.

I think that's where the "food desert" sob piece comes from. Stores don't stay open where jacking prices enough to make up for shrinkage wards customers away anyway. The mom and pops sadly go out of business and retire. The chain stores sacrifice 3 locations in the hood because their 8 locations in the suburbs make money for a lot cheaper. If inelastic demand is goods that people will buy no matter what, well, then inelastic supply is stores writing off certain neighborhoods as not worth their effort because the profit margins just aren't attractive no matter how you tweak your business model.
The last thing the media wants is to give attention to blacks who want themselves and their communities to be better because that requires first admitting black communities need to change something about themselves, which is kryptonite to a woke white media/socjus outrage industry that needs them to stay destitute and shitty so they can monetize their own heroism. You can't look like a hero for saving the poor deer with the broken leg when the deer are swatting you away and telling you to leave them alone because your constant hobbling the deer population with casts on their legs is what leads to them being unable to break the poverty cycle in the first place. I hate to even mention race and refer to socjus as all white people but in this case it's just true, I've met plenty of black people of every political persuasion who still say that socjus is just privileged white people fighting other white people for woke points and using the illusion of black victimhood to do it without ever asking real black people how they feel about it and refusing to address any black community issue that can't be "solved" by a white college kid signing a petition or tweeting the right tag.
