PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wisconsin -- A Wisconsin North Face store was rushed by a group of ten people who ransacked the store in what police are describing as a "flash mob."

On July 1, 2019, an estimated $30,000 in merchandise was stolen in less than 30 seconds, police told local media.

According to Kenosha News, Sgt. Aaron Schaffer of the Pleasant Prairie Police Department said the group grabbed "as much merchandise as they could carry before running to the cars and leaving the property."

No one was injured in the incident.

Police posted photos and video of the incident hoping the public could help lead them to the suspects.

Please calmly discuss race theory below.

I suppose "flash mob" is technically accurate.

Or they just close, leading to the infamous 'food desert' phenomenon.

Which, funnily enough, the same people who cause said phenomenon bitch and moan to broader society about it as if though it's not their own doing.

A single person can overwhelm a whole store and theft happens all the time. Most wage slave employees are told not to intervene with a thief. We have largely an honor system. The only exception are stores where theft happens all the time so they hire security. And half of the stores that look like they have security really only have doormen for show who are also told not to intervene.

I'm speaking in regards to a major USA city anyway. I'm sure it's different elsewhere...
In Mexico City, back in the 80's, my parents said that every jewelry store had a security guard who would buzz you into the store, and they had fully automatic rifles on them if you decided to try and start something. I can't imagine what it's like now.

The East Indian jewelers here have a similar setup.
But they deal in a lot of 22 and 24K gold, so I understand.

I have a north face jacket because canada lol. Their store ain't cheap so yes what they're each carrying is worth $5k-10k
I've heard literally everyone wears a Canada Goose in Toronto and the rest of Canada.

There's even a parody rap video about Canada Gooses/Canada Geeses?/Canada Gaggle? by some Canadians which seems to support this.

When I read Flash mob my first thought was that a buncha people rolled up into the shop and burst into a well choreographed dance number. All the employees are having a good time, getting distracted by the dance while some accomplices rob the place blind.

Reality is often disappointing.

I used to be under those same orders, then I brought a 12 gauge to work and shot 4 people doing a flash mob shoplifting

I got a promotion.

Holy shit guys I just got an idea, I need 20 people, a phone with Earth Wind and Fire's best hits, some really loud Bluetooth speakers and a whole bunch of disco pants.

It's not surprising that someone would pick up on this as an idea, at the same time it just shows the level of intelligence of the criminals.

I could respect someone doing something like this in a jewelry store, or with something that has a higher resale value, but it's always the same sort of things that are targeted by black thieves.

Low value items, and clothing. And it's not like they're actually boosting the stuff in a sophisticated way, they're literally standing in front of video cameras with no facial coverings.

On a lighter note.

North Face is a dead give away anyhow, cause everyone knows Black people don't go camping.
