🍗 Deathfat The Slaton Sisters / Amy Slaton & Tammy Slaton - The 1000 Pound Sisters

It's shitty, low-quality, deep-fried garbage food. Of course she's really that excited.

Amy tends to be a bit of a screecher when she's excited. Remember her ear-raping "It's Tammaaaayyy!" bellow when she would return home, or her nails-on-a-chalkboard "I wuuuv yooouu" repartee with poor Dobby the dog?

Screeching at a chihuahua is so not going to screw up his behavior.

They passed by the Big Chicken? Damn I didn’t realize that they’d visit that far into the suburbs. (Okay, Marietta is north of Atlanta but they’d still have to pull off the interstate to get onto Cobb Parkway. Still. This was most likely a planned detour.) The Big Chicken is a kitschy tourist attraction, to be fair. There are even souvenirs like plushies in local shops modeled after it. The outside is the only part worth pulling over for. Otherwise you’re just likely to get harassed by bums inside.

What I’d give to see them visit the Six Flags White Water down the road. Doubt they could fit into swimsuits, though.

I wonder if they went around looking at silly things to film so they can copy other youtubers who do that. Nothing they do is original. They are just really good at the only thing a Slaton can be good at. Being gross, fat and dumb.

I think a visit to Sea World would be more suitable. Of course they'd have to waddle away from trainers trying to roll them back into the whale tanks.

So according to this video the meet & greet was at Comfort Inn & Suites Ballpark Area. Looks like they have a gym but you know those two didn't use it. The pic in the video shows a sample cost of $80 per night. But since they had two rooms, even if they had cheaper ones it would still eat up tugboat. Plus I doubt Michael makes much. He works at a saw mill, right? So not only does he talk like Big Mac from MLP, he also works with trees. Oh man. The jokes write themselves.

Now the Slatons themselves did not mention any documentary. But the fan who posted the pictures did. I wonder if they waited it to get out or not. Too late now as the cat is out of the bag.

This video shows a clip from Tammy talking about the meet & greet. She can't be bothered to show the painting close up. But she sure can show off them snacks. I think that they were hoping to cash in bigger on gifts. They used to get tons of free stuff and now it is just a trickle. They must really hate how low the freebies have ran. Tammy gushes over a Miss Cathy like she is a beloved relative. Because Miss Cathy brought them Panda Express. That's how you get a Slaton to love you. Food.

The short notice was really short. Vaguely mentioning that you are doing a meet & greet somewhere sometime soon is not notice. That's like saying you might go someplace next month. People can't plan in advance around such vagueness. But Slatons are just too dumb to understand this. I guess when your life consists of sitting around all day eating and making poor quality vidos where you mumble about makeup it's hard to fathom that others need to go to work and can't just randomly pick up and go to Atlanta because you gave a few days notice of where the meet & greet actually was. Nowhere did they say in previous older videos where or when it would be. Georgia is a state, not a small village. So that ain't notice TamTam. But you are exceptional so I guess we can't argue too much over it.

You know TamTam is hoping Cathy sends them gifts in the future. She can't ship Panta Express to Kentucky. But there's plenty of non-perishable junk food just begging for Slatons to eat them. Cathy is now the best fan ever because she delivered fast food.

Now check around 9:15 where a commenter mentions that everything was free and they didn't pay. THey also had a doctor appointment. Is that for the documentary?

At 9:48 there is a comment asking where the meet & greet video is and outlining a list of possible excuses they would make such as the camera being broken and all three phones being broken, fans not wanting to be filmed and the hotel not allowing filming.

Never mind that a carma crew was there. Allegedly. Things that make you go hmmmm....

The next commenter chides them for accepting snacks when they are deathfat and says they are surprised that Dr. Now didn't show up with a team of bariatric surgeons.

As we suspected before there was more than meets the wonky eye to this entire road trip. It's interesting that people who were there are spilling beans left and right but Amy and Tammy aren't saying anything. I really hope that it doesn't get ruined for them because I want to see what happens even if it means a spell of radio silence.

Any new info on the meet and greet? I would expect someone to have pulled out a phone and shot some video.

My friend made this and its hilarious.

Can we verify these people spilling the beans aren't just idiots?

I do suspect the silence from TamTam and Amy is indicative they were there for a specific reason. Though it surprises me they can keep their traps shut.

That is truly the best pic of Tammy. She's never looked better.

They could be. Hell, I am still wondering if that gargoyle who posted that Michael was a perv is a troon or just hideous.

It's just that the whole thing is really strange. A reality show was mentioned a few times months ago. Then nothing. Then a meet & greet was hinted at with no specifics given. And the timing of the who thing was very short notice and on Mother's Day weekend of all things. I guess Michael was too busy dreaming of reality trainwreck bux to spend the day with Mama Halterman and her heart attack inducing redneck desserts.

It makes me wonder if the meet & greet was planned to be part of the documentary to make it look like they are big Youtubey stars. That woman said she was interviewed for the documentary. Maybe the meet & greet wasn't entirely the brainfart of the Slaton sisters and they just screwed up the notice giving part. I don't think many more people would have attended anyway. But I can so see them being unable to process simple planning instructions. Maybe because they couldn't pronounce the address or got so caught up in some Netflix garbage that they plumb fergot.

I'd be curious to know how many pictures they brought to pass out. That would tell us how many people they expected vs the reality of less than 10.
I think there is something going on with some kind of production too. They had someone filming plus I would think that if they could, they would have filmed a lot of videos for their youtube channels. Also, it seems odd that they would spend the money on those rooms, and it was mentioned they didn't pay for them (I think)

Oh, I'm quite sure the Slatons think they are far more popular than they are and also have no idea that the majority of their fanbase is ironic and/or there just to watch the trainwreck.

According to YouTube, Amy currently has a little over 113,000 subscribers while Tam-Tam has almost 19,000. Yet, their recent videos only seem to get around 10-15,000 views, which tells me that the majority of Amy's subscribers aren't even watching them. Even more oddly, the reaction videos and the parodies and the videos of folks trying to make the recipes are getting much higher view counts than the original videos, so I think that tells you where the entertainment value of the Slatons lies.

So how many actual fans do they have in the Atlanta area who would be willing to give up part of their Mother's Day to hang out with the two of them in a conference room in a Comfort Inn? Probably not many.

Remember a long time ago Amy was gaining subs at a rapid pace out of nowhere? The positive comments from these new people were very generic. Then all the sudden it stopped. It was thought that se was buying subs. That that would explain the sub vs view count being way off.
