She just might be in a room that is completely infested with bedbugs, fleas, or roaches (roaches can bite) especially if her linens aren't changed regularly (or at all). No matter, opportunistic infections can set in like impetigo and staph and it can get out of control fast. Plus, it's not like Amy is going to be her servant, more like her partner in grime.

That too, and Amy is in better shape than Tammy because she is at least mobile. I would bet on a staph infection. As someone pointed out, Amy had the same skin a while back. I believe while staying at the double wide Slaton Hilton. As much as I hate Amy, being married seems to have given her an excuse to be cleaner (not clean mind you, but a little less slothful than at her parents). Being 600lbs +, being practically immobile, eating non nutritive junk in mass quantities, and having atrocious hygiene is inviting cooties and bacteria of all kinds.

I think the meet and greet was a very poorly thought out scheme by Amy to show the production company what big stars they were. “Oh, we was going to come to Atlanta anyways for a meet n greet wiff our fans.”

Amy probably thought it would help their chances of getting cast, when actually it hurts it. One, the meet and greet was embarrassing. Two, reality TV shows don’t want already known ppl who are already making money being gross death fats on YT.

They are looking for unknowns because it’s far easier to script their stories if nobody knows anything about them. They also don’t want people they cast revealing stuff about their “journey” online before the show airs. I’m sure they would make that clear to the Slatons but can also see they might be too dumb to follow directions.

Sadly if they did get cast we’d never see the Slaton trailer. The show would rent a home for a year to film in. Any “reality” show that’s going to spend more than a few days filming rents a location/home for participants. The FBTT show focuses on one family over the course of a year, so they would def rent some sort of house if they were focusing on Amy and Tammy.

(This is one of the reasons ppl move to Houston to be on My 600 lb Life, it’s not because they need to be close to Dr Now. They need to be close to the production crew that’s located in Houston. The show is budgeted each episode travel to a participants home to film once and to film their travel to Houston, if more travel is required for the crew to film they get their pay penalized.

It’s much cheaper to pay participants a stipend for rent than pay the crew to travel to various states to film segments. One of the recent awful fatties, Angie, moves at the very end of her filming just to take advantage of the rent stipend and avoid not getting a significant penalty deducted from her pay d/t staying put in Ohio almost the entire year, necessitating the crews travel. She and three junkies finally moved to an apt in Houston during month 10 or 11 of filming, even though she had lost no weight and was kicked out of the program within weeks of moving.)

Film crew huh? Thought so. Tammy looks really bad. No one has lost any weight going by those shots. If they did then they gained it back.

So Michael has a wandering eye, huh? Hope TamTam is a bigger gal than he's into. I guess when you are married to an orca with the face of a hag who looks like she just drank lemon juice anything is gonna look good by comparison. And consideribg the circumstances he met Amy under back when she was just a calf, I am not even remotely surprised here.

Of course they used filters. Amy has mentioned before that she doesn't like her face. But Tammy think she cute. I don't think Tammy would be that bad if she were a normal size. But Amy got whacked in the face by the worst genetics that the Slaton family tree could offer. If there is an uglier Slaton woman then I truly feel bad for her. Not even weighing 125 lbs would fix Amy. I know it's hard to see what they are supposed to look like under all that caloric distortion, but I think Amy has a fair amount of Maw in her if Maw was bashed in the face by an additional ugly stick. The weight just makes it all the more worse.

It's just too bad that we know what the Slatons really look like. So those filtered pics are just comically sad.

They passed by the Big Chicken? Damn I didn’t realize that they’d visit that far into the suburbs. (Okay, Marietta is north of Atlanta but they’d still have to pull off the interstate to get onto Cobb Parkway. Still. This was most likely a planned detour.) The Big Chicken is a kitschy tourist attraction, to be fair. There are even souvenirs like plushies in local shops modeled after it. The outside is the only part worth pulling over for. Otherwise you’re just likely to get harassed by bums inside.

What I’d give to see them visit the Six Flags White Water down the road. Doubt they could fit into swimsuits, though.
