Disaster Shooting At STEM School Highlands Ranch (Colorado) - Two Shooters - One Dead, Eight Injured

One 18-year-old male was killed and eight students were hurt in a shooting at STEM School Highlands Ranch and police say “two shooters” were caught by officers running into the building. Both suspects are students at the school.

The school is located approximately 8 miles from Columbine High School in neighboring Jefferson County.

Denver7 reported that investigators believe at least one of the suspects stole the guns from the parents of the 18-year-old suspect,

Douglas County Sheriff Tony Spurlock confirmed that at least two handguns were used in the shooting.

High-ranking sources told Denver7 Tuesday night that three handguns and a rifle were recovered but said the rifle was not used in the shooting

HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. – One student is dead and eight others injured after two of their classmates opened fire at a suburban Denver STEM school on Tuesday.

Superintendent Thomas S. Tucker said in a letter to parents that STEM School Highlands Ranch, a public charter school with more than 1,850 students in kindergarten through 12th grade, will be closed for the remainder of the week.

"This is a terrible event," Douglas County Sheriff Tony Spurlock said. "This is something that nobody wants to happen in their community."

Kendrick Castillo, 18, was identified Wednesday as the lone fatality, the sheriff said.

One suspect is a "female juvenile," police said after originally identifying the teen as male. The other was identified by police as Devon Erickson, 18.

Lupron also has a lot of psychiatric adverse event being reported (over 20,000 reported to the FDA, that’s a lot for a drug that’s supposed to be a niche market.) the prescribing info notes this and instructs to monitor patients for worsening of any mental health issues.

In all seriousness, I heard about this first in a Discord server I'm in. The guy who posted it said "I'm sure you've heard about it." Considering who was involved, no, I didn't, and I'm surprised it's not spreading out.
My friend got shot in the arm this year in Chicago and told me he's always had problems and troubles with gangs constantly patrolling that shit hole, yet no one bats an eye at how high its gun fatality rate is right now. It's only when it happens at a level where you have to "think of the children." Why not the fucking adults who wont come home to their spouse and/or kids?

no its charter school for nerds. highlands ranch is pretty white and affluent.

edit: they teach computer programming and chemistry and such as preparation for getting college degrees. As much as the news harped on littleton being a place where "this could never happen here" after columbine, highlands ranch is wayyy more of a "this could never happen here" type of place because everyone is so rich and educated. Littleton has some poor people at least, and is way closer to denver.
