This needs to be the last one of these. He's started watching half a dozen videos because people said there was a funny moment in them, and either said that it wasn't actually that funny or said that he was bored as fuck, so the viewers must be bored too.

A content creator who can't stomach watching their own videos because they're boring, too long, purposely bad, or not funny definitely deserves $100k a year.
 
Well, didn't expect this, but it really looks like this event was a dud.

And as I'm typing this he responds to a donation message by saying that today didn't really help that much with his taxes, maybe a bit more than usual.

I think he actually received more bits than tips ($100 currently).

-edit- He's now ranting about how people were shooting the shit about his desktop and him visiting the Space Needle. :story:

-edit2- Oh, and hasn't been recording this last part of the stream because he "accidentally must have hit the record button" and "we're ending very soon anyway".

Apparently there is a million things as to why he can't move back to CT:
  1. Bad weather
  2. No office
  3. Quality of his videos will go down because of echo
  4. Bad internet connection prevents him from streaming regularly
  5. High taxes

Correct me if im wrong but wasn't it a short lived discussion here about how he paid for green screen pictures with the Needle in it?

And apparently some troll responded about how he supposedly can't since hes broke, trying to get a reaction.

Since he made more than he usally does on a normal stream he came out on top despite not coming no where near what he needed!

No he wont make another stream like this, not until next month or there is a risk it becomes stale after his CT trip!

He just went off on a rant about us dissecting his desktop last time he did this. He's so buttmad about the Space Needle pics.
 
Don't forget that in preparation for this big event he watched any suggested videos beforehand to screen them, and probably prepare some reactions...

Oh and they still got the executive decision to skip geography in Bully

I hope getting over $200 before taxes and paypal fees was worth the whole ride.

Edit: Also, the entire stream time was right at 9 hours, a whopping 1 whole hour longer than his normal 2 stream days. How long was prestream and how many (and how long) breaks did he take?

Well, he tweeted that he has "6+ hours", so that answers that. He ended up with approximately as much actual KHANTENT as he normally does. Truly impressive.

Im guessing he still did his 1 hour prestream, he did 2-3 20 min breaks at least and then by the end he "accidently" hit the "stop record" button!
 
I haven't watched the event (still gotta watch through #2, even with Tevin's commentary I'm not looking forward to a combined 15-20 hours of this...) but I saw a screencap that should be mentioned. DSP for some reason loaded twitch dot tv slash bits which shows us a few things:

  1. DSP is clearly running AdBlock Plus, not even uBlock Origin, what an idiot. This hasn't been mentioned in the thread that I see, but DSP apparently claimed he is only running it for these retrospective streams...
  2. He's running Tampermonkey (the black square with 2 white dots next to ABP) for some reason... utterly unnecessary for adblocking on YouTube, Google really don't even try to anti-adblock stuff. Really makes you think what he'd need Tampermonkey for... no number on the icon implies it's not running a script on this page.
  3. "0 Bits" confirmed, he hasn't bought bits.
  4. The 1K bits special offer is there.. he's NEVER bought bits before. "1st Time Buyers" "one per account"
If I remember correctly the only time DSP's ever used bits is that 'watch Jack Ryan on Amazon Video and get 400 free bits' deal which I think he gave to Popsicolo... but might have been kekon or Tolomeo.

Yes, that really is the best thing about these retrospective events; he starts all excited about watching himself for 6+ hours, but you can see him get bored and impatient more quickly with every video he watches. And then he wonders why there are so many montages of his content out there. I love how he actually went on several rants about detractor videos when Youtube recommended those to him, while all he has basically accomplished today is confirming that 90+% of his content is boring, liquified shit.

If you'd tie him up to a chair and force him to watch his own RAW and UNEDITED content without skipping through videos, he'd transform into the new Fred Fuchs within 24 hours.
