Yeah, Adventures has been censored for the second edition-onward when it comes to the language, violence (mostly removal of blood, they'll keep in fucking stabbing as long as there's no blood), and toilet/sexual humor (which if you find old Viz printings are left intact since they didn't catch them/care at the time). I honestly get why they do it as Americans have different standards for what's appropriate for children compared to the Japanese and this is Pokémon we're talking about, though it may have to go through approval on CoroCoro's part since Japanese creators are super iffy about changes made to their work. Another Pokémon manga, Electric Tale of Pikachu, is notorious for its censorship in the States, but also in Japan; the mangaka predominately does hentai, and he had to be asked by his editors to tone things down during its publication, hard as it is to believe.

VAs wear a lot of "hats". Take Jamie Marchi. She has lots of acting roles, but also does writing and ADR directing, probably more than some of the new actors have actually acted. I'm pretty sure the ADR director is also in charge of casting in addition to the actual directing.
Not sure if they do producer roles (I know at least Vic has), and what exactly the producer does.

You know, I get why Nick's been comparatively loud tonight. The frustation at the opposition's sheer, undiluted Autism is fucking palpable.
There's a very special kind of frustration one can suffer when you tell someone not to do something for their own benefit, and they choose actively and deliberately to not only do that very thing, but insult you for daring to give a shit about them in the first place. At that point there's not much you can do but sit back and laugh as irony runs its course. In this case, the fact that they're still tripling down to this degree is enough to make one laugh a drink out their nose.
