Usually when I read about Chris's retarded antics its fun to think about what will happen and how it will come to an end, usually because his actions only tend to affect himself. This however is something I do not want to think about because for once I am terrified to think about the outcome. Chris has obviously owned pets in the past but, now that his mental state has gone completely off the rails it wouldn't surprise me if he brutally murdered one of his cats so it can go live in the 'sister dimension'.
I've owned a lot of cats in the past and they almost always have minor problems with their eyes when they're kittens, usually they pull through just fine. That however is not looking good, at all.

I hope those cats (if they live) end up resenting you and attack you when you try to get near them.
I feel bad for mommy cat, she probably has been through a lot of stress because she can't find her kittens, thus probably hasn't eaten in awhile. So she's going to end up giving up on them and just focus on finding food and shelter.

If it's Chris playing pretend, he's substantially smarter and better at writing and manipulation than he's ever demonstrated. I'd be really impressed if that first begging tweet for the sick cats was Chris.
Animal control checked on him twice. The merch guy also called the vet and confirmed that Chris has enough medicine for the three cats. He also just generally cares about his cats, doesn't care about exploiting their existence for monetary gain, and doesn't care much what people think. Finally, his other cats have always been allowed to come and go. If, in the long run, the kittens are in a poor situation, they will leave. Animals typically have a strong sense of self preservation. That's enough for me to confidently say that he isn't abusing or neglecting them right now. Regardless, obligation to provide proof is upon those asserting that he's abusing them.
I don't know how that's disagreeing with what I said. All I'm saying is that cats can survive without a human caring for them. I would say that most pet owners can't and don't provide an optimal environment for their pets, and that animals are in no way entitled to an optimal environment. I don't believe Chris is outside the norm of competent pet owners. At the same time, I'm not confident that Chris can provide a competent level of care for 3 kittens in the long term, but that has little bearing on what's actually happening right now.
Of all the things that Chris is likely to provide for the kittens, talking to and playing with them have to be tied with petting them.
I know it won't, but hopefully the threat of stress makes him more concerned about his ability to care for the cats and more weary of whoever's manipulating him.
That's a real cunt move. JULAY called it earlier in the thread.
It's more indicative that it is actually a feral cat with limited socialization. It's going to take more effort than Chris is likely willing put in to make it come inside.

He is lucky They aren’t all hamsters, because if Lucy had any instincts she would kill the babies for intruding. Cats have been known to do that sometimes too. But I doubt Lucy had the ability to do anything other than exist.

If the mother is feral, she won't come in, ever. There's nothing that can be done on that end, believe me. What she needs is to be fixed in a few weeks before she can get impregnated again. Once that's done, feeding the mom and making sure she has shelter when the weather gets shitty is the best that can happen. Keeping a feral cat in a house would only be a lot of stress for it.
Lucy will not be a mother figure, she will tolerate the kittens at most. Once (if
) they start playing around, I can guarantee you Lucy will not want to deal with bouncing kittens whacking and chasing everything in their site. Elder cats are the antithesis to kittens. I doubt Chris is following the introduction process well either. If any cat starts to feel like their territory is being threatened, it usually ends up pissing and shitting from stress.

Oh yeah. My elderly cat was furious to see a little kitten we were babysitting in our house. Surprisingly a lot more than the dog was.

Currently have someone local and trustworthy in Charlottesville that wants to adopt the orange cat, Liza. They have a small child that this would make an excellent first pet for.
They're willing to go to 14 BC today to pick up the cat.
