What a surprise, CNN no longer wants to suck Avenatti's dick on-air 24/7 now that Avenatti's all lined up with a referral for a criminal investigation. Avennati was only useful to them because they thought he would be able to use Stormy Daniels to stop Trump and Julie Swetnick to stop Kavanaugh. None of that happened, so now it's time for him to go underneath the bus.

Watch carefully: Every single Democratic talking head will start shoveling shit on him as quickly as they can for the next few days.

Agreed and, as an aside, I don't know if the investigation will go anywhere.
They'll sell him out for nothing and it'll make it that much sweeter.

EDIT: Don't underestimate him, though. He has the one thing most on the Left lack; a spine.

  • "Your land is on fire." If "I need to vote" is the first thing a Democrat thinks when their fucking front yard is on fire, I'm going to assume their priorities in office won't be much better. I mean, damn, are you that helpless you can't pick up a fucking garden hose and you need the government to do it?
  • "Your house is flooded." If a Democrat thinks you get a plumber in to fix your house by electing him, then I'm definitely going to question their ability to function in office.

I think these two points are meant to address climate change, or at least the wildfires on the west coast and the flooding on the east.

I don’t think there are Democrats who are stupid enough to believe you elect plumbers to fix their flooding (or at least I hope my party isn’t that far gone.) I think it’s because they think candidates from their party will do more to put in place some sort of safeguard s what with the rah-rahing of alternative fuel sources like wind and solar. And even those aren’t necessarily a silver bullet against climate change, though that’s a different can of worms. The same goes for the wildfires.

Granted, most of the so-called Democrats would probably be either too distracted by angry tweeting to smell any smoke from a fire being lit under their asses telling them to vote...

I know. I'm being deliberately stupid, because the image was impenetrably stupid.

Frankly, it's insulting that they don't want to use common-sense solutions--proper forestry practices, sensible construction methods, and a healthy dose of shit happens so budget well as an individual and minimize the red tape as a government--and would rather just dump it all on everyone else. These are the people who don't take an ounce of prevention and then cry "Nazi" because the pound of cure wasn't instantly handed to them.

I dunno if this will get mod yanked from this thread for irrelevance, but here's Black Pigeon, today.
It's speculative, but fun.

You don't have to be an Infowars type to feel this one.

Not even a little bit.

Stamps hadn't been postmarked on this one at the very least, they were hand delivered by somebody outside of the USPS.

I talked to someone a few hours ago who's worked in the USPS for multiple decades about this specific aspect of it. Apparently, that package was what they label a "non-machinable parcel" meaning it can't be automated, it is processed manually. From what they told me it's standard procedure not to postmark "non-machinable parcels" because they physically don't go through the machinery that would normally post-mark mail - they're hand-sorted. They said that all it really means for something to not be postmarked is that it wasn't put over-the-counter in a post office facility

It's just so stupid. It's telling how the media still deludes itself into thinking the broader populace is buying this.
They have a hardcore fanbase (lurk some CNN boards, if you can stomach it), an interlinked and embedded series of "news" networks that broadcast the same prepared message, every day, to feign consistency; I guess it's reasonable for them to believe it. Autodeceptive practices cut deep.

Ahahaha, they're gonna throw Creepy Porn Lawyer under the bus and pin the Kavanaugh circus on him, that's priceless.
