Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

Jfc, the soap part is basically an adult version of a 16-year old kid telling his friends "Hey guys I got an F, we should totally shit on our teacher's car".

I wouldn't worry about it.
If this is the Democrats attempt to create their own "Kavanuagh moment" then 1. it's a really pathetic attempt and 2. it shows they clearly don't understand why the Kavanaugh accusations backfired on them so badly in the first place.
The Kavanaugh shit went down so badly and screwed the Dems because it was a unified attempt by the Dems and they all put their names on it. Making it easy for the GOP to use it as a rallying point.
"Crazed MAGA bomber attempts to bomb Dems and media figures and Trump is culpable because of his rhetoric" is nowhere near as good a talking or rallying point as "Democrats attempt to smear Kavanaugh with false rape accusations"
You can be sure that the usual suspects will try to spin this as "MAGA bombers fires up Democrat base at last second". But like pretty much all pro Democrat spin it won't reflect reality.

If he/she is wearing a MAGA hat, it'll have been donned very recently.

More ridiculousness, only recently, the New York Times Reivew of Books asked five authors of the airport paperback thriller hack variety to imagine the next chapter of ORANGE MAN BAD's Presidency, i.e. being brought down by his RUSSIA TIES.

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/10/23/books/review/trumps-next-chapter.html

So, the serious Paper of Record is on hand to regale readers with low-rent spy fiction about VLARNDALD BLURMPH finally getting got. Unlike their other fanfiction they regularly publish as "news" they actually label this as fiction.

Just a few samples, like from Scott "Generic Legal Thriller, $1.39 a pound" Turow

Or the next puerile spew from some Brit author, Zoe Sharp, who has written critically acclaimed but painfully standard books about the adventures of a STRONG FEMALE PROTAGANIST. A cold, professional Russian assassin is sent on a mission against BAD ORANGE MAN, staying at his hotel and like any cold professional, takes time to indulge in a juvenile tantrum against CHEETOHANDS HITLER

Then...

*Teleports Behind DRUMPF* "Heh, nothing personnel, kid"

THen from the author of Red Sparrow comes this generic but also clumsily written trash

"For as you know, Tovarisch President - Comrade President - ve Russian spies often translate phrases of our own language into English vhen speaking amongst ourselves, da- yes?"

If this were any more cartoonish Putin would be ordering them to finally take down moose and squirrel.

Next, THE PEE PEE TAPE IS REAL (if you believe)

And from another one of those guys whose big chunky paperbacks fill racks at supermarkets and airports, Joseph Finder

Again, this is just another instance of a so-called serious media establishment wetting their pants. All of this nonsense is about as mature and stable as people constantly going on about how we're living in The Handmaid's Tale or under Cheetohands Voldemort and the resistance are the plucky students at Hogwarts, and all of that piffle.
Political correctness often artificially increases the influence of meretricious hacks while stifling genuine talent.

I'm pretty sure 80% of CNN's Nielsen ratings come from hotel lobbies and airports.

Not that you're wrong about where they're getting most of their viewers these days, but here's my :autism: "Ack-ack-ackshually" :powerlevel: for the day:

I don't think Nielsen puts boxes in places like that. I was a Nielsen household for a year, and, if the TV is left on one channel for a considerable length of time, a message pops up that you need to confirm you are still watching, otherwise, it assumes you've fallen asleep/forgot to turn the TV off and stops "counting" you. There's no way to feasibly do that with a communal set in public.

It's a good thing that only lasted a year for me, that's the kind of power that corrupts absolutely, knowing that with the mere flick of a TV remote button, I had the power to put Ray Romano in the unemployment line.....

Back on topic, how exactly does spinning this as a coordinated hate campaign that can be blamed on Trump help the Democrats at the polls in any way? If anything, it may convince a few particularly weak blue voters to stay home out of fear they'll get one delivered next, wouldn't it? Or do they still think, against all evidence, that the 24/7 ORANGE MAN BAD approach will pay off eventually if they just blame everything on him and damn the evidence?

I ask myself the exact same thing. Have the constant facepalms from the Left taught them nothing?
Additionally, isn't it known that people turn to the Right when they are scared i.e. towards law and order?
Bombs to one side, Antifa in front and a horde of illegals WWZing into the border. When I was on the fence, this would have made me jump to the Right.

I'm thinking that embedded media are simply treating it as a job, now. Maddow, Lemon, etc. they are looking out for themselves. The only thing keeping these platforms afloat is "orange man bad muh Russia."

Does it require an advanced degree in sociology to understand what's at play, here? Falling back on human nature seems to explain things, quite well.

Fearmongering; and we all thought the Left was above this.

Modern-day progressives trying desperately to appeal to veterans is always a good laugh.

These are the same lunatics who lend credence to studies that say 1 out of 4 college students have PTSD from 2016.
I know a few guys who earned their PTSD and they don't brag about it like a fetishistic badge of honor.

Oh but you see, PTSD and all the loonies' other problems aren't weaknesses but are in fact STRENGTHS, because it proves they're the only ones with empathy, feelings, and souls. So it's good to claim these conditions and brag.

A thing I actually heard someone say.

It's how they apply rank in the oppression hierarchy. What the literal shit is this real life?:stress:

It's also contradiction land, where the strong, independent, caring women need safe spaces at work with crayons and free hugs for those times when dealing with microaggressions just gets too tough, but don't you dare mock them for that, you misogynist mansplainer! You have NO IDEA, unless you strongly identify whit women and say you have a true and honest girldick.

Let's see. Vote as if:
  • "Your skin is not white." Okay, then I'll vote like a Cuban. You racist.
  • "Your parents need medical care." My father was permanently disabled. My mother is not in such hot shape either. But thanks for assuming that people on the right have no suffering nor troubles.
  • "Your spouse is an immigrant." Do I look desperate enough to be a green-card bride?
  • "Your son is transgender." I'm going to vote for whatever side won't mind if I shoot whoever's been messing with my child's head.
  • "Your sister was a victim of gun violence." My sister's faster on the draw than the average mugger, so if she's the victim, it's because she didn't have access to her own gun. How to fix that...?
  • "Your best friend is a veteran living with PTSD." What's that, Sgt. Awesome? You said you vote Republican? Sounds good.
  • "Your brother is gay." If that much of my immediate family were queer--between a gay brother and a tranny offspring--I'd start looking at the water supply. And I'm pretty sure that Dems wouldn't be interested in fixing a water supply that's turning my family gay. (Or frogs.)
  • "Your land is on fire." If "I need to vote" is the first thing a Democrat thinks when their fucking front yard is on fire, I'm going to assume their priorities in office won't be much better. I mean, damn, are you that helpless you can't pick up a fucking garden hose and you need the government to do it?
  • "Your house is flooded." If a Democrat thinks you get a plumber in to fix your house by electing him, then I'm definitely going to question their ability to function in office.
  • "Vote as if your family depended on it." I do. GOP. Thanks for the reminder.
