Chris believes he is special and important, thus should never be denied the things he wants. Whenever he is denied those things he throws a fit, then obsesses about them for years. His entitlement and unwarranted self-importance has only gotten worse since he started up with his "I'm an almighty goddess and the savior of two dimensions" because now he thinks he's the most important person ever.

That does kind of point to it being a scam. Had this discussion with someone last night who thinks Chris is pulling a fast one.

The problem is, Chris doesn't want to take advantage of anything that will actually help him. Especially if it means giving up his delusions. He forked over six grand in order to keep those happy lies alive. Chris wants to continue to pretend he is an all-powerful goddess over a cartoon universe where all his favorite franchises mingle, that he is in a polyamorous marriage with cartoon characters, and he is the most important person around and adored by literally everyone, but at the same time he wants all of his real world problems to be solved by other people so he can continue to play make believe, despite the fact that being stuck in his childish head world all the time is causing most of his IRL problems. So he will continue to live the comforting lie and do as little IRL shit as he can get away with.

If he was manipulated by exceptional individuals who made up moon lasers, I'm pretty sure he could be manipulated by normies. Not saying it's the best way, but if it saved his life, that would be good.

I never said anyone could snap their fingers. However, I don't think you know Chris particularly well, or that you know adult welfare law particular well. I merely said an attempt seems to be in his best interest.

I agree with your buddy, I think this is intense childhood make believe in an egotistical adult. Maybe not exclusively for scamming, but as a coping mechanism for where his life is right now.
