I'd think Chris probably has already heard about John Titor. Specifically, because it was a focal point in a VN called Steins;Gate, and the anime adaptation got very popular, popular enough that Chris probably heard about it... even if he only heard about the anime because it's a popular series with a cute girl character that is sometimes referred to as "Chris-chan".
I don't think Chris would really "get" that story anyway, it's less fantasy world hopping and more technobabble with time travel thrown in.

True. Chris basic grasp dimension travel; more fantasy (where he is able to make stuff up) and less sci-fi/time travel (where it takes actual math/science than his mind can keep up with).

It's hilarious that Chris is such a shitty artist that he can't even draw characters that were specifically designed to be easily copied and drawn by little children. Even when he's obviously tracing he can't even get it to look remotely correct. It's so fitting and somehow sums up everything about Chris.
Chris identifies with the hick pony because she's apparently a tom boy-type character. Chris has always had a thing for tom boys and has even described his mother and Anna as such. It's the reason he came up with the Autistic term "tom girl" to describe himself when he started crossdressing, because in his dim brain tom boy = girl who likes boy stuff, so "tom girl" must = boy who likes girly stuff.
