So what exactly does dave think he’s going to gain from whatever this amazon miracle streaming service is? does he think his content will stand out and shine above everyone else uploading there? Does he think amazon will pay for his garbage? Does he think he’s small fanbase will matter at all on that site?

I just don’t understand his logic and praise for a future service like it’s some miracle cure.

He would never get accepted. His shit content isn’t what they are looking for at the moment. They want something more episodic with production from what I can tell, like AVGN.

"hate" is a strong word but for most folk it's the hypocrisy, the toxicity to his fellow man, the lack of self-awareness and his entitled belief he deserves to be given thousands of dollars a month for minimal effort - he's a prick, and a self-destructive prick at that, so it's fun to watch him destroy himself because he'd deserve the REEEality check.

I wish he came out and just said how much he made before. He said "I went from YT making 30-40% of my income to $10/day." Uhh... hmm... can we get some numbers for what your total income is? Or how much daily DSPGaming was pulling in for you??

If you want to believe Phil didn't pull those percentages out of his ass all the information is there for you to figure it out. I'll do some sloppy math because I don't feel like looking up exact numbers. Let's say he averages about $8,000 on Twitch, until this recent call to action Patreon was around $800, and say he had an amazing month on Teespring and made $100. 40% of $8,900 is $3,560. If you want to round everything i'd say 3k-4k a month based on the percentages he chose.

Just want to state again this is a rough estimate based on rough estimations from my memory of his usual totals, and any of the fantastic members who keep track of these numbers can take a crack at it.

I honestly dont like how Phil scams and manipulates clearly vulnerable people or people who need help and guidance. I think there is a special place in oblivion for that kind of behaviour. Also seeing as Phil is a pathological liar and possibly cheated on Panda when he went out his way to defame her someone 11 years your senior and moved away from her family so in all instances alone; makes you an incredible prick.

I particularly do not like how Phil thinks he is a genius and manipulated a system (youtube) then tries to retcon his own history which recordings are word for word taken from him claiming they are lies. You got to be ultra retarded for that to be the case. I dont hate Phil I just think he is an utter cunt, who is dumb and self-destructive.

The 30 - 40% is probably true btw and checks out.

I was thinking the exact same thing the last time I heard him allude to holding out until Amazon launches their new video sharing platform. I know it doesn't surprise any of us, that Phil is delusional enough to actually look at that day, as a day to start fresh and relive the wild west days of 2011 YouTube, but jesus christ... does he think their scrutinizing of copyright will be lax? does he think detractors wont follow him over there? I'm guessing the integration with twitch would be easier on his lazy ass, but he would still have the exact same issues there, as he would anywhere else he's been.

I remember seeing an interview at some point with Bret Michaels where he came off as a complete jealous twat when reminiscing about Nirvana, and the grunge phase putting him and every other hair band out of paying jobs seamlessly over night. I remember how unprofessional and off putting it was for a guy who had it all in the entertainment world for the better part of 6, or 7 years to be resorted pissing and moaning that a younger, arguably more talented group came along and plowed through the entire industry. Instead of stepping aside, and realizing that there are fads in the entertainment industry that can be outlasted. Bret chose to be bitter, and lash out at the consumer for choosing songs about depression, and screeching feedback over radio friendly glam rock. I got that exact same feeling after the first couple months of looking back on DSP library of content.

Your point is perfect. Phil was a novelty for his era but people have changing tastes. He did not want to adapt nor did he want to look at the specific reasons for their departure, i.e. he is annoying, disgusting cunt that is not funny or entertaining. Phil supposedly has a business degree so he should know that the free market chooses the winners and losers. That market chose him and his business as a loser. While people like Fagginz might be able to bail him out in the short term, he cannot make a permanent career of relying on stranger's generosity. It will end.

Twitch really doesn’t have its priorities straight. Really showing that if you’re a Twitch Partner that(for the most part) you’re protected even if you break the ToS & bits use policy.

Phil:Multiple ToS & bit use policy violations. Barely gets anything done to him.

I get the logic (mocking a partner is in their new ToS after all); I just find it amusing they don't care whenever Pigroach decides to shit on a partner and duck out by deleting his streams like the cowardly money whore he is.

I blame his autistic hate-base, who used to also be speds who gave him money for the most part and who flooded Twitch so hard on Pigroach they ignore him out of spite for the most part.
