On December 26, 2014, Diamond was arrested in Ozaukee County, Wisconsin, for possession of a switchblade knife, which he was alleged to have pulled during a bar altercation in which a man was stabbed.[22][23][24][25] Amanda Schutz, his fiancée, also faced a charge of disorderly conduct in relation to the incident,[26] was found guilty and fined $500.[27] On May 29, 2015, Diamond was convicted of two misdemeanors, carrying a concealed weapon and disorderly conduct. He was cleared of the most serious charge, recklessly endangering public safety.[28] On June 25, 2015, Diamond was sentenced to four months in prison.[29] He served three months and was released on probation. Diamond's probation agent determined that he had violated the terms of his probation, and he was arrested in May 2016.[30]

Now THAT'S how you melt down as a former child star (he also made a sex tape but to be honest his many many arrests are far funnier).

(he also made a sex tape but to be honest his many many arrests are far funnier).
According to him, that wasn't him in the sex tape.

In 2006, Diamond directed and released his own sex tape, Screeched – Saved by the Smell.[6][7][8] However, Diamond stated in an interview on "Where Are They Now?" of the Oprah Winfrey Network that he was not actually in the sex tape, rather "stunt double" had his likeness added onto it.[9]

I think he's (literally) trying to cover his own ass. I don't buy it for a second. Also, Saved by the Smell? Can you think of a more unsexy name for a sex tape?

ETA: I'm reading more about him on Wikipedia, and this guy's fucking hilarious. He published a book talking about his experiences, and apparently the whole thing was pretty much made up.

In 2009, Diamond published an inside story of the show's cast and crew, from his point of view, titled Behind the Bell.[12] The book paints an unflattering portrait of many of Diamond's colleagues and their alleged, sordid backstage behavior; some of these claims have been refuted by Diamond's colleagues and questioned by critics.[13]Diamond also alleges, in the book, that he has had sex with 2,000 women, one of them NBC's VP of children's programming, Linda Mancuso, who was 18 years his senior.[14][15] Diamond's former co-stars were highly critical of the book and Mark-Paul Gosselaar stated that his own experiences with the show were positive and did not see where any of the book's negative claims actually occurred on set.

Diamond later commented on the book's content in a December 2013 appearance on a "Where Are They Now" segment on the OWN Network in which he stated that the book was ghost written by an author who simply interviewed him and compiled the book from his answers. He claimed that many parts of the book, such as allegations of teen sex and drug use, were fabricated from very minor statements he made during the interviews, such as his remark, "Yeah, there were a bunch of kids on set with hormones so...what do you think?"

So he wrote a book about shit that didn't happen, and when confronted about it he claimed it wasn't him and that it was someone else who just asked him questions. Except why would someone else try to say that he had sex with 2000 women? That's the kind of lie you make up to try and make yourself look better.

I always thought of the MST3K reboot as "Joel doesn't have enough money in his retirement fund".

It's clearly a vanity project for the kinda-sorta-almost famous "nerds" involved in it, and yeah it's hard to look at it as anything but him kind of throwing his hands up and going "Whatever, just keep paying me for the fucking name."

It's laughably, obnoxiously contrived. "Oh, there we were, with our imaginary stars zooming over our heads -- just like a star to wish on! -- and this lovely boy told me how Awesome and Amazing I, Wil Wheaton, have been to him over the years, more of a dad than his dad. 'Make it official, Wil.' And I choked with pride and love, my voice thick with tears, 'You got it...son.'"

It would take a heart of stone not to laugh at this.
Oh exactly! If anyone is under the delusion that Wil cares about family as anything more than a bunch of extras in the story of his life, just look at his "I'm a victim of depression" blog post.

He makes a point to say he doesn't hold his parents responsible for not knowing he was depressed as a kid but then he proceeds to throw them under the bus. If I recall the tone was essentially "they were stupid and didn't know any better so I forgive them". Sounded like the little shit just needed a smack across his smug face.

I'm surprised the bitch didn't blame Gates McFadden for also not being able to diagnose it, after all she was sort of a doctor.

I think he's transferred some of both his love and resentment of his actual parents to her and Patrick Stewart, because he sees his "space family" (teehee so quirky) as a way to cling to his relevance and boost himself.

It's probably relatively easy for him to disregard his actual family... after all, they're not famous, therefore they're not useful, and that's all he cares about.

I thought his father was somebody sorta famous?

I also love the pecking order of these cucking photos he does. Actual man Nathan Fillion pretend bangs his wife (who knows, he might have actually done it - it's not like Wil could have stopped it).

But wait, Wil turns the tables and does the same thing...to some random couple at some mid-tier comic con.

Kind of shows where he is on the food chain.

I've always maintained that his wife must really loath him (and herself) . Any self respecting woman would have done this once and thought "okay, that was sort of amusing" and never thought of it again. The fact that she keeps either suggesting it or doesn't put the kibosh on it when her twit of a hubby does, means she really wants to cultivate the image of him as a half-man. It certainly can't be for the humor because IT'S NOT IN THE LEAST BIT FUNNY.

Bill Shatner went to town on people that are pestering him for autographs. Wouldn't you know our favorite ensign somehow made the final cut...

"Sure, a lot has been said by former coworkers about my hogging camera time and stories abound about me going out of my way to make sure the camera was always on me. It’s easy for folks to believe that I’m a jerk it’s a history of stories that I never bothered to counter because I was too busy working. A lot of those stories came out of conventions where certain actors found, that if they exaggerated on set stories, they got a better reaction from the crowd. Saying I was a jerk got them more attention. Even a young member of the second Star Trek series has a story about sneaking onto the Star Trek V set; supposedly encountering me and I made him cry. People who were there on set said it never happened but who knows maybe it did? ‍♂️ That story which came out in his book labeled me “William F*cking Shatner.” Well there you go; I have a nice new moniker to show around town.
