Not as far as I'm aware they haven't. As I said earlier, I was just being a dick linking the correct IRS reporting form, but it would be a legitimate thing to do. It doesn't give an option on the form for us non-US citizens to file it though.

I think he openly stated in a tweet he tried to contact her and she either pick up or hung up on him. Not sure on this. Just know she's done this to a few people and at least one generalist who wanted her to address certain topics even if it's just with a basic confirmation or denial.

She's tweeting that iFred has confirmed her donations associated with Depression Quest (not sure if she means recently or the claims she made back in May). Is this true? Did something happen since last night? Her twitter says nothing to give more credence to that statement. Last I heard we only had some partial evidence she tweeted regarding a different charity and only during the time after the Five Guy fiasco occurred.
 
I don't know, one thing you're forgetting is that, if webcomics are anything to go by (and face it, if you're a straight guy who plays video games), girls playing video games and them beating you at Halo (or any other game) is kind of a turn-on, and video game makers tend to notice (watch the 2011 Ghost Recon Wii U trailer for more).

I'm not speaking for myself when I say males get angry when they're beaten by girls: I respect female gamers, and I treat them in the same vein that I would treat any other gamer. I'm just giving perspective on why the "you got beaten by a girl" term riled people up during pre-and-mid-2000s.

And in my case, attraction doesn't come from them being able to beat you in a video game; it's from appreciating the game on the same level as you. Not "i-like-halo-he's-a-cool-guy", more like "Diablo 3 needed a darker atmosphere to emphasise its macabre themes".

I'm not trying to make an assumption on the playing ability of female gamers; the ratio of male-to-female gamers was very one-sided and has only really levelled out in the last two console generations. Considering how the hardcore audience of video gaming is only a fraction of the total number of gamers, I'm sure it was statistically unlikely to encounter a hardcore female gamer instead of a casual one, thus perpetuating the generalisation that losing to a girl in a video game meant you sucked at it.

There is no doubt in my mind that there are better female gamers than I be it through talent or dedication, but once again, I wasn't talking about myself when I made that post. There are a lot of unsavoury people out there, and what I touched on were simply examples of the way female gamers have been mistreated based on gender.

Fuck Sarkeesian and Quinn. They don't deserve my sympathy or my money. This entire ordeal gets me so fired up that it makes me ashamed to be a female gamer. They can crow all they want about mistreatment and bullying, but they're sure as shit not having it as bad as girls in 3rd world countries who are cast away, smothered, beaten, or raped. In my parent's country, the very concept of feminism will only get you laughed at.

You know what? I suddenly have some inspiration. My money is going toward charity for girls in 3rd world countries who actually need it. Besides, isn't one concept of feminism to uplift girls who don't have the strength to lift themselves?

This is true, sadly.

In the eyes of her true believers (read: morons), she can do no wrong. You could provide unimpeachable proof that she was contributing her entire Patreon to ISIS tomorrow, complete with her being taken into custody by the FBI, and her followers would continue to scream about patriarchy and male privilege and all that nonsense.

Because, as we have established, it was never about social progress or feminism for these people.

It's more that they're so utterly self obsessed that they'll refuse to admit to a mistake, they're always right by virtue of being them (remind you of someone?). I don't think I've ever seen an sjw admit a mistake rather than insisting that, say, the minority person they offended is a fake or brainwashed or something. I've never liked egotism and arrogance in a person...

Yes, and another key difference that I noted earlier was the fact that he cut losses and resigned. If Quinn even gave some half-assed apology and stopped playing the victim, that would maybe put the thing to rest sooner.
