edit: Yeah apparently they've sold out of tickets, presumably already making the 10k figure that started the whole thing. Selling ten thousand tickets in the USA to wrasslin is pretty impressive.

Meltzer is going to have to apologize for saying they couldn't do it.
Of course on Twitter he's being an asshole about it and claiming they should have done it sooner, like planing such an event doesn't take time.

Cody Rhodes is gonna challenge for the NWA title. Billy Corgan is from Chicago and helping promote the event. I hope Cody wins the title and makes it relevant again. If anyone could, it's him.

I think at the moment Billy's NWA consists of him, Nick Aldis (formerly Magnus of Impact Wrestling), and a belt.
iirc Championship Wrestling From Hollywood was an NWA affil before Billy got the brand, but these days NWA is just the two guys operating out of youtube and promotions hosting one-off matches with Aldis.
