Preston makes me nostalgic for CWC and Golden Knight. At least with Chris there was the autism defense, and we objectively got to see his work get better in time. At least with GK, it's so horrid it flips around and becomes funny. Preston comes across as a slightly-more-artistically-talented version of David Gonterman, who, unlike Gonterman himself, has absolutely zero self-awareness.

Okay, I was wrong about her cosplaying a Star Trek character obviously, but that's the comic I had in mind. And it perfectly proves he's into feminism because it looks good. He could've easily had her response to the guy be "I don't have to validate myself to you just because you're so insecure and uncomfortable around women that you use petty insults and try to instantly judge me because you feel like I'm trying to copy your thing." Instead, Dobson allows her to be insulted, sits back and watches, only to then at the end go "but she's really into comics after all!"

Yeah, that pose in the second panel basically screams "please protect and comfort me". That alone is a good indication of his way of thinking.

Come to think of it, that's almost the exact same pose the Power Girl cosplayer had in the other comic

Phil Fish was DOXXED (for standing up for Zoe Quinn) and all his personal information was leaked onto the internet, including SSI info, home address, bank records, etc. As a result, Phil decided to leave gaming forever and is now selling off the IP rights to FEZ and Polytron. Zoe Quinn, a female independent game developer who made a game called Depression Quest, got harassed by an ex-boyfriend who decided to post nasty things about her and accuse her of using her influences in the “sacred” world of games journalism to get positive reviews through sexual favors with reviewers. I remembered when he posted on /ic/ where he actually listened to criticisms and people hoped he'd continue to listen to advice. But nope, after sometime he went back to his old ways, and became even worse. He also had occasional /co/ threads(not sure if they got sick and tired of him now). You'd have to realize how REALLY bad you are if even the 4channers hate you.

I'm not a Trekkie Dobbie, but didn't Spock usually wear two rings on his uniform cuffs not one*? I suppose he could be conveying that the con bully is a know-nothing know-it-all who ironically is devoid of geek knowledge himself, but that's overly optimistic.

*He was referred to as Lieutenant Commander in a few episodes but he still mostly wore the rank of a full Commander, iirc... R-right?

Dobson has no right to criticize entitlement because he is so fucking entitled. That post has nothing to do with video games.
