What happened to “fruit tastes amazing” and “it’s so nice to not have cravings” and all the other miracles? No more being happy with a strawberry. Now it’s “a brain tumor is making me fat?”
We all predicted it. It happened faster than I thought possible though, I really thought he’d lose 200 lbs before he quit.
Actually, correction-I thought he’d quit before he’d begun, but I thought that medically he would have no choice but to lose 200 lbs. The power of a food addiction must be truly incredible if a person can have 80% of their stomach removed and their intestines rerouted and still not lose more than a pound in a week.
No doubt that rivers of love comment was directed at his wife. If he has a brain tumor and can’t turn off the love river for her, she’ll have to feel guilty enough to come back-right?
Guilt is a good enough reason to keep a wife. If you can’t do it by being a man, might as well try sympathy.
