So, just a curiosity... Seeing that many people got the wrong images sent to them. Could they get their money back from E-bay? After all the product they received was not the product they purchased,

The item description says "***NO Requests for photograph content will be accepted." and "***Note: the featured sample photograph headshots are of myself personally; they will not necessarily be used for distribution of my autograph."

Chris seems to be covered for that.

I really want one. The price is chump change but I don't want to have to explain to anyone why I have a signed photograph of a fat transsexual telling the viewer to "Stay on the straight path."

I ordered one last night, and I specifically asked for the philosopher pose, so I really hope I don't get the sexy pose. But I probably will. :(

Oh well.

As long as he doesn't know you're a girl you should be fine
I don't know, he has my real name now, which isn't exactly an androgynous name... But a Japanese game illustrator I'm friends with mistook me for a male the first time she learned my real name, so maybe there's hope Chris' naïveté will pull though. (Not trying to imply that my illustrator friend was naïve or :stupid:, it's just not a name that Japanese people are often exposed to I guess!) (when I introduced myself to my friend's Japanese grandmother, and repeated my name a few times, she declared, "I'll just call you 'you.'")

Well if people tell him they arrived fucked up and suggested he use cardboard he probably would. It's not something you can put on Chris for being Chris - a lot of eBay sellers don't put in extra protection unless they're told their contents arrived damaged. I'm not trying to white knight, but I'm not going to jump on him for every little thing.

And yeah, the mail carriers really should actually take care with what they're doing. I'm sick of them folding up shit that's clearly marked 'do not bend' and shoving in my mail box.
Chris is very naive about the postal system.

But, it's a government-run company with no profit incentive funded by a system that allows you to mail a letter from Miami to Anchorage for the same price that it would take to mail that letter between neighborhoods in Manhattan.

Última edición:
i ordered one as an in-joke with my dad. Whenever he bothers me about not having a boyfriend I send him Chris pictures and videos. Chris brings us together to talk about and when my dad is pissed with my Mom he plays THAT IS MY HOUSE as loud as he can on his iphone.
I made the money ding commissions on DA so I had to get one. My name is super girly though so I fear I'm getting the "sexy" pose.

I've also been having an... interesting conversation with Chris over eBay. I'll wait until he ships the package before sharing though, I don't want him to see it, decide I'm a troll, and retaliate by stuffing in a rabid raccoon.

So a number of people who bought the autographed pictures are saying that they haven't received the headshot they asked for, that Chris is only making copies of the most "normal" one. People have also been asking questions about what in the emotional world he is attempting to convey with some of these headshots. Is it just possible that Chris posted this array of photos with "stupid" expressions as bait for trolls? That they would ask for one of the "retarded" expressions and he would perform a bait-and-switch to foil their cruel mockeries? He did something like this about a year ago when people on this board were discussing his latest Facebook picture and he posted a retarded-looking picture for a few hours to show that he was aware of us. I suspect he's aware of how these photos portray him.

I think what's more likely is that after posting up all those headshots, Chris realized how much :tugboat: it would take to print all of them so only bothered printing the one pose.

Wait a second;"...used for the distribution of my autograph..."

Does this mean he might not have been selling signed pictures, but just his signature alone and that he said it would come on a photograph of himself?

That kind of goes against the idea of listing multiple images, since that clearly is giving the impression of choice in that matter when obviously that's not happening.
