Murdered: Soul Suspect was a horrible concept for a game to begin with so it's a no-brainer that the game studio that made that game went bankrupted. It's their fault for not trying really big.

DSP Experiences Bugged Research Mechanics

I love that he rallys for Murder: Soul Suspect of all games. Despite a cool concept it was hardly a big release and was going to be a niche game from the get go.

I do love that Lucy clearly doesn't give a shit nor know who this guy is.

EDIT- I do hope that Marcin dude, from what his avatar shows, is doing a Bad News Barrett trolling gimmick.

One of the fgc guys I follow sniped Phil's stream. He was fucking around the entire game and still won.

If you ever want to see someone make a game look a hundred times harder than it actually is, watch DSP.

I had to go back and replay MGS2 after the fail montage just to remind myself what the game looks like when it's not being played by the guy that devs have in mind when they say "we want Call of Duty's audience".

He's actually kinda funny when he's not showcasing his piss poor attitude, though. I laugh at most of his jokes about the girls.

I just recently read that he bought a 300,000 house in a gated community near Seattle, a brand new gaming pc, a brand new BMW, brand new furniture for his house, new art work for his house, and on top of all that, he is still paying his mortgage on his condo in Connecticut. Either he has a rich mommy and daddy or he is about to spectacularly crash and burn.

On top of all that, he's moving and supporting his girlfriend as well. So, he's paying for even more than what you listed. Either its like you said or Phil is actually making some pretty damn good money off what he's doing.

This is what I don't get. Maybe someone can enlighten me. I'm not too knowledgeable about the monetary aspects of YouTube but he definitely has a following there. He consistently gets good viewership on Twitch, runs a bunch of ads and gets subscribers so he's making a decent amount of money on there. But, I'm still unsure of whether he's slamming himself with debt or his parents are paying for his recent endeavors or, like you said, he's going in over his head and is going to crash and burn eventually.

For a little while I refused to think of Phil as a lolcow, I'm still unsure of the label. I don't like him at all, despise what he stands for and does, and think his content and attitude blows, but apparently he's doing pretty well at least at face value. I feel like in the near future we'll really see some things emerge from his move. I've heard a lot of times that his viewership has steadily been dropping on YouTube (anyone who can provide that data, it'd be awesome) so I feel that in the future we may see Phil devolve into full-on lolcow form when all his spending and commitments begin to catch up with him.

That, or we'll find out Phil is actually handling his money really well and is finding huge success off of his minimal-effort career path (this route I highly doubt).

Do you want to know two things that would make you laugh your ass off as well?

1. DSP was actually trying to raise money and say that he's having issues with money right BEFORE moving. He was making video after video saying that he's having such a hard time with money even though he's buying a house in Seattle.

2. DSP also has said that he has a history of building computers in his own lan networks. So it's even funnier when he can't figure out what's going on with this computer he bought it also the fact that you would put himself in more debt just to have a computer that he could poke for almost half the price.

If I was pandalee's parents, I could see this whole issue coming a mile away but to be honest considering that she's a complete bitch, they probably wanted to get rid of her and move her to the other side of country as soon as possible.

So, I stopped in for a little bit for Phil's Hate Live broadcast tonight. Not a whole lot went down, pretty boring time actually. There were a lot of trolls in chat and Phil got pretty frustrated with his moderators but thats about it.

However, Phil did drop the knowledge that his parents paid for at least a part of the furniture in his place (over a thousand bucks) as he was complaining that the company that they bought from hadn't sent the furniture yet.

He also complained at great length about the company that moved his furniture across country and even named the company by name, bad mouthing the entire organization. It was pretty shitty but then he turned his attention to a local businessman who moved and assembled all of Phil's furniture for him at no expense. Phil didn't let him get away without paying him, of course! While he wasn't willing to give the guy cash or anything, he was more than generous enough to give the guy A SHOUTOUT ON HIS STREAM COMPLETE WITH HIS PERSONAL EMAIL ADDRESS. Needless to say, the trolls in chat were pretty happy about this revelation and I'm sure this local businessman has some real nice emails waiting for him in the morning.

I'm trying to think of some more notable moments but I'm drawing a blank mostly. Phil complained a lot more, with topics ranging from his back to his car's delivery to the trash department of his new area. He announced that he'd bought a brand new computer and then had a very awkward segment involving fans calling in. Surprisingly enough there were no trolls, just super awkward DSP fans. I stopped watching during this segment.

Oh, just a side note, Phil's mods flip their shit if you say you're going to report Phil to Twitch for violating Terms of Service since non-gaming content isn't allowed. Of course, that doesn't matter if you're partnered with Twitch, it only pertains to smaller channels. Still, his mods don't like that at all.

I'm sure the whole thing will be on YouTube along with the plethora of other videos he mentioned during the cast. I wouldn't recommend watching though, it was pretty damn boring.

Remember DSP bitching about those helpful fans that built him a pc at cost and installing extra software at no cost to him. If I remember correctly, he said the fan that built his pc was an amateur due to a slight crack that was on the case (Obviously caused during shipping). Well, DSP got his brand new pc, and I have trouble believing in God, but this just might change my mind.

Ah, if only your PC's hardware made you better at games. Then Phil might reach the same level of prowess as my 3.5 year old niece.

Also, in regards to his previous PC, gotta love how he claims he did them a favor by getting a PC built for him at cost. Truly a paragon of generosity.

And despite the $3000 PC, he is pissed because he cannot capture PC games at 1080p, 60 frames per second. This means he will not be doing any PC game playthroughs which means guess where all that money went.

I just watched part of his livestream. He complained and belched constantly.
