"Because we agreed on so much, Bernie couldn’t make an argument against me in this area on policy, so he had to resort to innuendo and impugning my character," Clinton wrote. "When I finally challenged Bernie during a debate to name a single time I changed a position or a vote because of a financial contribution, he couldn’t come up with anything. Nonetheless, his attacks caused lasting damage, making it harder to unify progressives in the general election and paving the way for Trump’s ‘Crooked Hillary’ campaign."

Clinton also discussed the fact Sanders isn't a Democrat, something he has openly acknowledged on several occasions despite of running for president as a Democratic candidate, and used this to characterize him as a disrupter.

"[Sanders] didn’t get into the race to make sure a Democrat won the White House, he got in to disrupt the Democratic Party," she wrote.

The former secretary of state is evidently frustrated about Sanders's effect on the election and seems to have ongoing questions about his motives for running.

With that said, Clinton applauded Sanders for mobilizing young people and getting them excited about politics, and said he was right to say Democrats need to spend more time focusing on working families.

But, in the end, Clinton thinks Sanders "was fundamentally wrong" about the Democratic Party and wishes he was a "proud Democrat" like her.

It might be time to reconsider Hillary Clinton for careercow status. I'd make the OP but I don't want to be found dead in a public park of an apparent suicide.

Or have a really salty book written with an extra salty page about me.

Bitch lost the election in every important electoral state.
A week before the election the CNN crowd was literally laughing at Donald Trump claiming he had no path to an electoral victory and questioned why he was holding a campaign rally in Wisconsin with 7 days to go.

There were thousands of people at that rally and that’s when I knew he had won the election.

Trump had stolen the Democrats voter base right out from under them, working class white people. The kind of people Democrats used to support before they became the party of cop killers and bathroom weirdoes.

Fun fact:
Reagan and Trump are the only Presidents who were union members. (Reagan was president of a union, actually.)

Sanders no doubt had a hand in causing Hillary to lose the 2016 presidential election, but he was no where near the primary cause.

Sanders running as a Democrat no doubt outlined some major issues with the Democrat establishment (therefore, Hillary), and presented a more favorable alternative. Same could be said for Trump really. Except Trump won, mainly because the Republican establishment was much, much more fragmented than the Democratic establishment, and therefore could not have an focused effort to subdue out-of-party candidates.

Sanders was really just the initial actor in this instance. Both him and Trump represented a more populist, anti-globalist agenda when compared to their more corporately inclined (at least from the public's perspective) establishment of both parties. There's not a doubt in my mind that this division will be even further amplified in the 2020 and 2024 elections and could potentially even lead to a split in one or both parties.

If the world were a meritocracy, Hillary wouldn't have received Pat Moynihan's Senate seat as a grace-and-favor appointment.

If the world was a meritocracy Hillary wouldn't of even made it to the primaries, and she certainly would never have been the sec of state.
