Mark Kelly is one of the 3 or 4 that might have a real shot. If he wasn't such an anti gun guy (his brain damaged wife is gabby giffords) I would sort of like him.

yeah Kelly seems like a good idea if they want to seriously try in 28, but if they're looking to clear out dead weight I could see him waiting to 32, he'll only be 68 vs 64
neither is going to be YOUNG GUY so he won't lose out much skipping the next one

It cannot be underestimated how demoralized right-wing zoomers are. Most have accepted communism as a foregone conclusion. MAGA was not meant to last.

In order for the DSA to have a hold nationally, they’d need to:
  • Get elected in more places than just super left wing cities
  • Not succumb to infighting and purity spirals (extremely difficult)
  • Actually be unified, with a stronger focus on economics than appeals to minorities (also difficult)
  • Not squander any goodwill with the general public
Left wing populism eats its own constantly, and it’s why they’d have to really refrain from purity spirals in order to get more powerful. They also refuse to crack down on illegal immigration while claiming to be for the common man, so that’s a tough sell in more right leaning areas. They can definitely get elected in some places, but you’re way overestimating their ability.

Also, lol at Antifa death squads. Most of those types only know Molotov cocktails, and refuse to hold a gun
