The new Kimi 3 is open weight, which means anyone can host it, it doesn't mean it's efficient or makes sense for everyone to have it on their own hardware (it is _massive_, requiring multi-node GPU clusters on the order of 8–16 nodes of 8x H100 or B200, a multi-million dollar investment sitting mostly idle in most businesses).

The average politician hates the country they "serve" and the people who live in it. Anything that makes them this angry is undoubtedly good for everyone else.
