Was Phil directly involved with Raw Phil getting banned on Youtube?

A lot of the old bad stuff are actually funny and if you are something like Nintendo or Konami back in say, 2005, you usually have a very hefty seal of quality since the games from those companies are usually enjoyable in some for or way.

(Speaking of bad games, If I remember correctly DSP had a marathon of playing bad games like last year or something, and he clearly enjoyed playing Big Rigs there more than COD or Street Fighter 6 or even actually good games.)

By the new 20s almost everything is bad, mediocre and/or woke and if they are bad, they are bad in a completely unfunny, tone-deaf manner. The rules and trust systems that exist before the new 10s are slowly being torn apart, broken down, burnt into the ground and replaced by "you will own nothing and you will be happy".

The difference between the gaming industry and the media production history pre-2013 compared to post-2013 is akin to Chris-Chan or just about any DeviantART or MySpace Lolcow with DarkSydePhil or Lily Peet.

Yes and no, AAA games overall have gotten worse, and there's less of them now with budgets ballooning in size (just like Phil's wife), but you have more indie stuff, idk.

Not that it matters, Phil has access to every single video game ever made and what does he do? He goes and starts another Dark Souls 2 playthrough.

Phil played FFXIV before ARR was even a thing, cleared all savage content week 1 and romanced Alphinaud.

never mind that he got filtered in modern WoW of all mmo's

Doesn't know how Raubahn is. (pretty important A Realm Reborn character, Phoenix General and leader of one of the 3 Grand Companies you can join, also pretty much the bodyguard and most trusted companion of the head of state of one of the starting cities)
Doesn't know what an Il Mheg Pixie is. (an Allied Beast Tribe you interact with in Shadowbringers)
Doesn't know what a Namazu is. (an Allied Beast Tribe you interact with in Stormblood)
Doesn't recognize the races in the job gear/equipment cards as Miqo'te and Au Ra. (playable races)
Doesn't know who Gaius van Baelsar is. (One of the most prominent main antagonists of A Realm Reborn) Even better, he misreads "Baelsar" as "Basler".

Sorry for the turbo autism, I just found it funny that he immediately said "I have no idea who or what that is or where that's from, actually. Oh, Final Fantasy 14, cool!" for every single FFXIV card. Why the fuck am I still getting surprised and amused by his constant lying?
 
Doody streams is on live and as much as I'm trying to like him, all he does is talk about his like over month or two long vacation over to the land of the rising sun. It' a very unpopular opintion but how does he make so much (other than his channel) that he can live like what Pigler is doing. Thumb down ni... motherfucker! Ack ack ack!
 
Probably unpopular opinion, but I don't believe today's games are worse than the ones from 10 or 20 years ago. The biggest change is the appearance of negative reviewers. People with hundreds of thousands, sometimes even millions, subscribers whose job is to explain why the newest game X sucks. Get enough of this content and you'll eventually start to believe them. I did a small experiment - I ignored them completely and started judging games on their own merit. Lo and behold, suddenly my experience with newer titles improved substantially.

That was such a great opportunity for him to lean into his infamy and interact with the trolls. But no, like always the only thing he tried was running away. Poorly.

Same goes for MTG, they had some trouble in the past with artists using traced AI pictures since then they've been pretty strict in term of AI usage.

I don't know which is worst between TPC and WTC they both made some pretty anti-consumer decisions lately.

But unlike Phail they don't use AI

I dare say TPC is even worse because they are Anti consumer on multiple facets and not just on card or tabletop games yet they are still being defended on a routine basis.

For context MTG is nowhere near as mainstream as far as pop culture standards go compared to Pokemon.

But even they won't sell SEEING PEOPLE PULL 2 CARD PACKS for 100 USD.

Had a bit of insight.
We're at the 2 week mark without Raw Phil.

Phil kicked the hornets nest on this one. Raw Phil was keeping all of those people who didn't like DSP contained in one ecosystem.
Now that Raw Phil has been taken down, it's like a contagion that's now spread. Smaller but more potent detractor communities are popping up.
Downbacking, DSPikachu, Renton Report, etc etc. Phil went on record to say that those viewers would have no choice but to come to him.

Instead they've all gone off to their own micro-communities and if Phil thinks he wasn't under the microscope before, woo boy, he's being looked at
by everyone with a NASA level sense of a-logging now. Furthermore, detractors have increased their campaign on reporting him from the looks of it.
Eventually a Youtube Rep will look at Phil's channel and either nuke him or demonetize it entirely if they find the right rep who has some time to kill.

Raw Phil was literally the detractor containment system for Phil's haters and by taking down Raw Phil, he's set them free. Now his channel is being view botted,
and Youtube's Ai moderation is now de-boosting Phil's channel because of it. Any reach he might've had is being killed due to the view botting going on with his channel.
Meanwhile, Raw Phil is building up his audience on other platforms, giving him time to really build up his brand name. If he wins his appeal on Youtube and comes back,
Phil is fucked. Not only will Raw Phil have the detractor community under him, he's going to come back twice as strong and will have immunity to Phil's flagging campaign.
The next time Phil attempts to flag him, and a Youtube Rep see's it, they will more than likely terminate DSP's channel, regardless if Raw is in the wrong or not.

We're seeing the consequences of this in any game he plays, namely Dark Souls 2. Dude is being hammered non-stop now by detractors, when it was just once in a blue moon.
A guy would come in, say some off the cuff shit, but now it's every stream where Phil is crashing out and having a melty.

Was it really worth it Phil?
