it's easy do the UK method make verrry verry unprofitable to even decide to have in your state or town.
( i believe josh is right we are 3-5 year for reactor & own water plant underneath the data center)
Yeesh, telling communities to blindly support data centers is a losing issue. The hatred is organic and bipartisan. WH needs to come back to reality on the issue and find some other way to deal with them.

So between Greer v. Moon invoking time travel, and this, where contracts aren't contracts, what you're telling me is I should avoid doing business anywhere in the 10th circuit. Is there something in the water there, or has all the weed from Colorado made everyone stupid?

I'm less inclined to hold voting for Obama against someone in all cases. After 8 years of age peers and older friends being deployed to the sandbox to die in unproductive wars, and an economy actively crashing because a housing bubble was bursting, people wanted something different than the neocons who had only made things worse, not better. Obama sold Hope and Change, which was exactly the right thing to target in that zeitgeist. People otherwise not too keen on leftest policies lapped up the message of Hope and Change, particularly younger millennials just recently coming of age to vote, like our Deer Sneeder.

I voted for Obama. Many of my friends voted for Obama. However unlike others, I am willing to admit that I got swindled, and that voting for Obama was a naive and stupid thing to do.
One of the posts I keep seeing even to this day is "why hasn't anyone been arrested for the 2008 financial crash?"

If they ever tried the banks would simply reply that various stupid civil rights laws made it illegal to not give huge interest free loans to unemployed niggers as their defense and they would be correct.

The AI bubble industry growth is quite possibly the only thing keeping the stock market from taking a shit, so from the administration's point of view they can't afford to not blindly support every endeavor.

Xi would like a word. The correction is coming whether the admin likes it or not, they're just hoping it doesn't happen before the midterms.

Whoever invented the scary snarl term "data centers" is a brilliant propagandist.

People are foaming at the mouth and committing terrorism over server farms, something that has existed for three decades and are quite common.

Like it's really really fucking retarded but as a troll myself I respect anyone who can rile people up that much.

Remember that many of the "conservative Californians" are Silicon Valley people being relocated by their firms to the Austin area to take advantage of low taxes. So, in other words, probably not "conservative Californians" to begin with.
This is a serious misunderstanding of Austin and Texas. The executives moving from California are a negligible percent of the population. The companies are relocating tl Austin because there is an existing hotbed of tech talent that costs less than silicon valley and performs just as well.

The University of Texas has a top-10 computer science program and it has been that way my entire life. Austin was called the Silicon Hills in the 90's and has never stopped being a tech hub since. Star Wars: The Old Republic, Borderlands 2 and Call of Duty: Black Ops were all developed in Austin.

Can't blame Josh for being doompilled he's basically satan for trannies and they've made it their mission to take away everything he isn't explicitly legally required to have

It's a losing issue, but it's not organic. Data centers have been built by decades, it only became a hot topic now after it got tied to AI and CCP started sponsoring astroturfed opposition to it.

Maybe demanding 40k acres of land, ignoring the local population, uses double the energy of the entire state, and calling everyone that disagrees a Chink shill is a bad idea, who knew??
