Envy, I think. The same sort of reason a lot of trannies are actually misogynists who hate women and think they're silly.

Also, because progressive spaces tell them to. Anything very woke is anti-male. But pro anything that makes you different/deviant.

So pooners are stuck between a rock and a hard place in that what they're doing is different/deviant (yay!) but also what they're purportedly trying to become is explicitly what they're told is "oppressive", a man (boo! hiss!).

For the same reason that a TERF will be all over a (tr/p)oon for hobbies or behaviours stereotypical to h(is/er) sex but then swear up and down that anybody can do anything and its not indicative of nothin': water on the brain cognitive dissonance the duality of man.

Same reason some TIMs have a thing for nuns: it's a closed community that they're not allowed into and it excludes men and sexuality, so they want in to do sex shit with women who explicitly don't want them. Or they imagine their dicks are so great that they could convince a nun to give up her life as a bride of Christ and run away with them. Pooners like monks because they imagine in any male-only space they're all going at it like in their yaoi mangas or stories of forbidden love.

There are plenty of horned-up pooners who fantasize about compelling gay men to fuck them, but I think there are a non-zero amount of pooners/fujos/etc who are into monasteries for the cottagecore vibe. Or maybe dark academia aesthetic--are we still doing dark academia aesthetic?

However, this lady is writing with the same characterization as she probably once wrote Avengers slice-of-life fanfic where they all lived in the tower like it was a dorm and hung out together.

I only watched the video partway (holy autism voice), but I skimmed her stories. They're anachronism-fests about having babies and explaining your identity at length to another character, and then a different character because it's an ensemble cast. She's written a guide to her cast and drawn enthusiastic portraits of them and is entertaining herself with her own in-jokes like this is a long-running series.

She's not an example of pooner trends; this is an autist in the (classic) Chris-chan style. It's just confusing because she's on Ao3 instead of DA.
