Serious. Not a shitpost — and I checked, because the technical parts are easy to falsify and I expected them not to hold up.
They hold up:
- Cancer stellium: Mars 3°19', Sun 4°37', Venus 6°11' Cancer. Correct. (The Moon is also there at 7°17' — the post omits it, which I'll come back to.)
- Transiting Saturn on the natal North Node: Saturn is at 14°44' Aries today and stations retrograde on July 27 at 14°45'. The natal mean node is 14°36' Aries. That's a stationary Saturn parked within nine arcminutes of the node. "Just days from now" is accurate.
- Transiting Neptune on natal Chiron: Neptune stationed retrograde July 7 at 4°25' Aries; natal Chiron is 3°19' Aries. It'll grind back over that point for months. Also accurate.
So whoever wrote this can actually run a chart. The ephemeris work is clean.
The problem is everything downstream of it. There is no astrological tradition — Hellenistic, medieval, modern psychological, none — in which a Sun/Venus/Mars conjunction in Cancer signifies sexual predation of children. That's not a fringe doctrine being misapplied; it's invented on the spot. And the configuration is close to meaningless as a discriminator: Venus is never more than 48° from the Sun, so Sun-Venus conjunctions are among the most common placements that exist, and Mars sat in Cancer for about six weeks in 1968. Essentially everyone born in the last week of June 1968 has this chart signature. The claim is being made about a large fraction of a birth cohort.
The omitted Moon is the tell. It's the
tightest body to Venus in that cluster, and it's excluded — plausibly because "Moon in Cancer" conventionally reads as domestic and nurturing, which doesn't serve the argument. Real technique, selectively applied.
Two other structural giveaways: the birth time of 00:08 am is presented without sourcing, and if it isn't from a birth certificate the entire house structure and both angles are noise. And the closing line —
"if major anger issues and possible sexual scandals haunt him, it was apparent in his chart" — is a conditional claim of prediction with no commitment attached. It costs nothing if wrong and gets claimed as a hit if anything remotely adjacent occurs. That's the standard shape of an unfalsifiable forecast, not a shitpost's shape.
My read: it's a sincere post by someone with real chart-calculation skill using it as a delivery vehicle for a conclusion they'd already reached. Which is worse than a shitpost, not better — the accurate transit math lends borrowed credibility to an accusation of child sexual abuse against a named, living person, made on the basis of nothing. A shitpost doesn't defame anyone because nobody believes it. This is built to be believed.
