Elliot Page / Ellen Page - Former actress, starred in Juno. Turned into a pooner and divorced her wife because being a lesbian was not boosting her career anymore. Receives a daily dose of asspatting from Hollywood. Likes to show off her "male" body using fake abdominals.

Burn Gorman, who’s also worked with Nolan before, would’ve been more believable casting for a young soldier and that dude is 51.

Isn't Ellen 40? Not old but also not 'young soldier' material. Burn also has better skin so he would be a better casting choice than Ellen.

I will watch The Odyssey in a few years, with a disgustingly sweet alcoholic drink and treat it as the comedy it is.

This is not real, but funny nonetheless.

Yep.
Men and women really don’t accept some little shrimp as a true warrior or actual hard man.

Again I point out that if you can’t be strong, be smart, and Woody Allen, noted creep and slimeball, consistently not only cast himself as his romantic male leads, his characters were always neurotic but funny and clever nerds.

If he went in trying to convince the viewing public he was a manly man, it would not have worked, yet ironically he was a fairly good baseball player known for strong batting arms.

To be an on screen great warrior, you really have to be an imposing man with a strong jaw, defined or big muscles and a presence.
It can work if they have screen presence and can convince the audience that they could fuck someone up in sneaky or unhinged ways. Stephen Graham in This Is England did a great job of that: he's only 5'4" but he gives the impression of being a nasty little bastard who's willing to fight dirty, like an aggressive little dog that's more dangerous than a big retriever. If Ellen played it like a sapper who'd snuck into cities and burned them down from inside, or poisoned wells or set traps for the enemy, I could maybe buy it, but it wouldn't exactly be heroic, and she'd have to be a better actor for that.

Or have a direct fighting skill that’s an equalizer. Weapons expert or, in some cases, martial artist. Some of those actors in the Hong Kong Kung Fu films had to be tiny little guys. I knew a 3rd degree black belt who was barely bigger than Prince but he was lightning quick and packed a surprising wallop for his size. Bigger dudes were afraid of him.

FFS she's got tons of money, she's even been dressed by Gucci, WHY DOES EVERYONE REFUSE TO TRY TO MAKE HER LOOK GOOD?!
Given the quality of the not-so-blank meat canvas that any couturier working with Ellen is forced to start with, do you honestly believe that this “look good” malarkey is even remotely accomplishable with mere clothing changes? :story:

Or, or, just don't cast a 40 year old woman as a young male soldier.

That furthers my point.

Woody Allen, even as a young man never cast himself as an action hero or tough guy.

The closest I can think of was him in the Parody casino Royale, which was obviously part of the joke, and Take the money and run, where he was a serial criminal, but a horribly unsuccessful one.

Rick Moranis as ”Dark Helmet” in Spaceballs is a more obvious gag.
Little weedy nerdy guy cast as what was supposed to be an imposing and terrifying villain played by a bodybuilder and voiced by a black guy with a voice like the Mississippi.

Stephen Grahame and the probably most iconic mean little bastard, Joe Pesci, pull off the angry guy with short man syndrome, partly because they probably both have a touch of it.
Even usually charming and likable Robert Carlyle played a convincing Francis Begbie in Trainspotting.
I would always be better convinced by a short skinny jock from Glasgae braying some prick wi’ a pint glass, than Ellen Page limply cutting her own hand and crying while attempting to shiv some cunt.

It's because no matter what she says, she has no concept of how to be a man.

All the examples you cited? Even if we knew nothing about those guys, they inherently strike us as "male".

Meanwhile, Elliot over here acting like she knows what being a man is like - a bogus claim by someone approaching 40 and demonstrably socialized as a woman growing up. There is no switch that someone socialized as a woman for more than a couple of decades that allows them to understand what being a man is like.

Norah Vincent actually had to work at it, and that work fooled a lot of people, but point is, she made the attempt to understand what being a man was like, including how a man outwardly presents, before she claimed she knew what it was like.

Page is not a man. Doesn't act like one, and comically doesn't look like one. And Hollywood will never make us in the real world believe it.

And even at that, most of those men thought there was something "off" about her, and thought that she was nothing more than a weird twink.

Well, sure, but she integrated well enough that she learned a lot about men being men, and didn't come away with a screed about "toxic masculinity" or some shit.

Page is that idiot that thinks she inherently knows how to be a man, and we should all believe it because she said so, and then has the nerve to tell everyone else how much better she knows. But then again, she's a left-leaning moron who didn't walk back her comments on Jussie Smollett. Of course she's going to lecture you about things she's totally off the mark on.

Ellen being a Warrior in the Odyssey makes the whole Trojan Horse thing really less impressive I mean if she was the average size of the soldiers than how big did it really need to be at this point the fucking thing might have just been an oversized pinata.

The way it’s done makes it seem like Ellen is the dimwitted runt of the group who Odysseys sacrifices because she’d be guileless enough not to know about the deception at play.

She’s sitting up on a dune twiddling her thumbs when she sees the soldiers coming and has to scramble to the horse to meet them and say her one line.

Her whole role and performance reminded me of Anybodys, the tomboy character from West Side Story— basically an annoying baby dyke who is desperate to be a member of the Jets but they keep kicking her out because she’s a girl.

Trojan Horse more like Trojan Pony

Is this the Elliot Page origin story? Not as in a "haha, poetic, art is life is art, coincidence" way. But as in a "we awakened something within the girl when we sent her for that waredrobe change" way.

A bit random, but I was watching random videos discussing Quantic Dream/David Cage games because I am fascinated by games which are objectively terrible but have a dedicated fan base. Anyway, the video was about Heavy Rain, but then this edited screenshot popped up (Ellen acted in a different David Cage game called Beyond: Two Souls, which is also pretty bad) and I had to dislike and flag the video as "not interested" so it won't show up again.
It's just retarded to correct the headline this way because David Cage did NOT create a nude model of Elliot Page, but of ELLEN Page. And if all of that was true and he really was acting creepy towards her, maybe people should put two and two together and realize that it might have been another reason for her to troon out? But no, tRanS joY!

It's almost impossible to watch a video about Beyond: Two Souls because we all have to pretend that the obvious girl in the game is a "he".
Anyway, fuck Ellen and fuck troon/pooner respecters for ruining my entertainment.
