it isn't like the people that say slurs and advocate for TTD are all consolidated within the farms, KF might've been a bastion for free speech in a time where it was needed but if you want to yell nigger and say all trannies are mentally ill men you can unironically get paid to do so on Twitter where such posts will have an infinitely bigger reach than whatever the KF can project.

KF being attacked is a symptom of KF being an easy target rather than any particular vernacular (beyond the archives and the accountability they bring), you don't see troons piss away their bottom dollar trying to take Twitter down despite it categorically "more harmful" in its existence under Musk's ownership.
 
4,000 active users on a Sunday, TOR only. It might not be close to the peak but that is a lot of people. I know it might seem like this is it for the site, but just staying on TOR until it blows over is probably the winning strategy, don't even try to come back to the clearnet until you are good and ready. And you never know, people get bored when they stop getting the reaction they want. Sometimes they even have happy little accidents...

FYI I've been squatting on sneed.today since it came up for sale in 2024. Right now I just have a page there that gives basic instructions to access the onion site, but if you want it back or would like me to use it for any particular purpose just lmk.

IMO, the only reason Cloudflare did what they did was because Keffals and LFJ just went “KF is transphobic, it needs to die”, along with Keffals going on CNN to talk about the campaign, and even having an article talking about claiming to have an insider named Clay, and Matthew Prince decided to go and make a blogpost to say how difficult it was, and he gets hailed as a hero by a certain crowd. And Keffals gets to say “I win.”

If that’s the case, someone could easily pay to just run bonnets and pay botlords to go “DDOS KF to oblivion”. It’s only a matter of how dedicated and rich they are.
 
I'm sure everything pales in comparison to a 6TB attack, but how much bandwidth does the Soyjack/sharty thread take up when every post is a picture/gif spam of 100 full sized pictures?

Also is the current lapse on the clearnet from the attacker forgetting to press the button again/switching to trying to attack TOR? Or did Null pull something out his ass?

From what I vaguely remember, the LCF thread had some talk about this a while back but little to nothing ever really came from it. I'd be interested in helping to migrate a couple of cows across even though the only two I really check in on now are Shayna and Heather. I'd say they lack in current material compared to their pasts, but KF also has plenty of quiet threads that only get updated once a month if that.
