the fuck kind of sheltered upbringing did you have? the absolute weirdest thing about current year to me is how this is suprising to people. like even if you weren't raised around people evading warrants for terrorism and/or drug trafficking, didn't you have to read 1984 in school?
 
I do have some difficulty accepting that it only costs $80/month to ddos attack a site like kiwifarms. When that pricing was set did it have sites like the farms in mind that had this level of tanking capacity, or was it intended for much, much weaker sites that wouldn’t be able to handle as much?

Assuming that it’s not somehow actually $80 a day or something, I wonder if the botnet with this pricing was not intended for a site with the resilience of the kiwifarms and ddosing the farms actually had a much bigger cost then anticipated and is otherwise not as sustainable as we are led to believe. Wouldn’t a full ddos attack cause you to lose a portion of your botnet as the ip addresses get blocked by upstream or even discovered and removed by the owners of the hacked devices because their network is getting overloaded?
 
Can't Jersh have someone incorporate an innocuous-sounding LLC with a website (NOT Lolcow Patriot Sneed 1488 LLC) in a jurisdiction that respects privacy, and this brand new web forum just happens to be all of Kiwifarms? Just gate 90% of the content behind a login screen and you need an account age of at least a few months to view it, just like Prospering Grounds today. I have no idea how this really works so I assume there is something wrong with this and it wouldn't actually buy time on Cloudflare

We've done this in the past. Liz Fong-Jones pays people to write emails in such a way to explain this, like he did with sneed.today that got Donuts (now Identity Digital) to delete that domain.

It's important to remember this. The only reason this happens is because it's allowed to and it benefits someone. It started a while ago. The first was PayPal way back when the site had ads, and that censorship grew until DropKF. We are being burnt by (((them))), whoever they are, because the moment we go, they will have proven that their methods do in fact work, and no amount of stubbornness can save a site. They are willing to allow pedophiles abuse children and nuke our site documenting that behavior if it accomplishes the goal. That's what we're dealing with.

call me optimistic but i think we will get past this by simply tanking it for now. though we are going to keep getting attacked forever until a solution is found which i know it will be. the only question i have would be how long this current botnet will last? given the numbers we have seen the botlord must have spent ages making it or found a massive group of people willing to download anything.

These mega corps should have some sort of consequence for building en mass these useless "smart" home appliances and devices that are constantly used for DDOS attacks because they get a security updates once after launch and then are never updated again and quickly compromised. There are millions of useless devices hooked up to home networks like smart fridges, smart plugs, smart T.V's, a fucking smart toasted that get connected to the home WiFi once and never get used and become the perfect bot net device due to a lack of resources from the big company's like LG, Samsung, Electrolux, ect to continue to patch out vulnerabilities.

They just sell your data to any jew who wants it and then make a new device that you will buy to do it again leaving all the old garbage for malicious activities. Either these companies have to get involved with their own shit or people actually have to learn to just not hook every fucking thing up to the internet.

Paypal was pozzed in a number of other ways too. They started fucking with legal 2A-related stuff and a lot of the pro-gun guys and groups swore it off.
