Shine some light on these roaches off line. It doesn't have to be crazy. Make some shorts or whatever of you driving and encountering a kiwi billboard in the wild. Or ask some local farmers to do it for you. Make it a game to find them. Make something funny that pisses the right people off.
 
Here's a solution idea.

Make all incoming traffic redirect to a website that plays this video automatically without controls

Once the video ends, the user is then asked to push a button to be redirected to Kiwifarms with a cookie that acts as a keycard to show you have watched the video and are a human who clicked the button. Attempting to access Kiwifarms without this cookie keycard results in a 400 error. No need to change up TOR stuff.

The idea is essentially "If you want to access Kiwifarms and get a keycard, you'll have to watch this video that makes fun of you specifically, and then push a button to have a cookie written to your browser to actually browse it. Attempting to reach the site otherwise results in a bad request and refusal of the connection. You can have this gate guard Cloudflared as well, for further laughs.

So the same pedophiles we discuss about are the same ones that work for the alphabet soup agencies in the government who ignore all queries? Shocking. I often wondered where all the CP truly goes once all investigations against arrested pedos go. Highly doubt those hard drives get destroyed without being copied over first.
 
Every single one of these announcements breaks my heart. It is ridiculous what these companies and lunatics do to stifle harmless free speech and protect the absolute dregs of humanity.

Would that I could turn back this multi dimensional MC Escher painting that is the sands of time I could do something to help. I'm still treating nickels like manhole covers and am unable to move a mouse let alone a mountain.

whats stopping someone coding a bot to wait for the video to be over before clicking to get the keycard?

By having it be played at 10,000% loudness and checking for mouse movements to lower the volume. If there isn't cursor movement to lower volume, its a bot and no cookie issued. There are no laws about nuisance gate guards or loud humiliation checks. As long as the intent is not to directly harm the viewer (seizure inducing media) or cause public chaos (Such as having the video play an extremely loud klaxon saying WARNING WARNING THERE IS AN ACTIVE BOMB, EVERYONE RUN) you are in the clear because there legitimately no laws about weaponizing a website specifically to fuck with bad actors.

Section 230 protects sites and individuals from the consequences when hosting a forum with user-generated content; it's not your fault what random people post, as long as you make a good faith effort to try to moderate it and take down bad posts.

if you literally just host a whole-ass archive, others aren't responsible for their own speech there...you're the one who posted all of it, all of the speech there is now your speech, because you felt it was valid to repost. Defamation, damaging info, all of it is under your name.

Yep. Just picture it like this if you need help; if you were to go back in time and show someone from the 50's and 60's what goes on in terms of government spying today, they would say for sure we are the dystopian reality. The sad reality is that they did it meticulously enough that many people didn't even know it. It's been happening for decades now.

So ... apologies if someone else has already asked, but why can't these same botnets be hired and used to target more deserving sites and actually attract mainstream attention to the problem (to at least motivate TPTB to finally fucking kill the god damn botnets)? Not by us, necessarily, though this also raises the question as to why nobody ever seems to try to DDoS the actual shitheads of the internet instead of us.

I for one wouldn't shed a single tear if CNN, Wikipedia, Reddit, Slashdot, Hackernews, Forbes, Amazon.com (the storefront, that is), MSNBC, or any other mainstream "portal" web site suddenly started suffering literal days of unrelenting massive, record-setting DDoS attacks and watching the mainstream tech industry try to solve it their usual way (I suspect the current attacks hitting KF would potentially overwhelm even the mighty Cloudflare).

Because those sites are protected by Cloudflare. KF is the only site that's not.

Additionally, the attacks aren't just happening automatically, they're being run by actual people...people who have a vested interest in not attracting unwanted attention to themselves. If they're told to bring down CNN as a high profile target, won't that make people want to figure out how to stop them, as you say? They're not stupid. They'll just say no, we won't do that, governments will shut us down if we do that.
